BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi Gerrina, I absolutely love this card, It's so full of mood and movement! The ladies look like they're having the most exciting time dancing and the 'Twisted Citron' is just the perfect finish, it's just so full of life. When I saw your photographs of the bridge, they were so familiar to me that I had to call my Husband to look at them. His Father was there in September 1944 as a Medic with the Allied Army and he went back there in the 1990's as a Veteran where he renewed his great relationship once more with the Dutch people. In 1944, he was 18 years old but his experiences stayed with him until the end of his life in 2004. As a medic, he did his very best to help so many people of all nationalities and we are very proud of his achievements. His visits in the 1990's helped him to finally find peace and closure on the memories of those difficult times. On his wall in his home, until the day he died, there were photographs of the Dutch Bridges. It really is such a small world. Wishing you a wonderful week, Sandra xx
