Op een stempelmiddag met Josje heb ik haar helemaal uit haar confortzone gegooid door een mix van gezicht/ogen en een beetje PopArt voor te stellen. Eerst een heleboel voorbeelden gekeken op pinterest met een kop thee en babbelen en ondertussen kwamen er bij ons allebei wat ideeën naar boven en zijn we aan de slag gegaan. Zo gaaf om te zien hoe zij hiermee twee heel verschillende mooie Art Journal Pages mee maakte en lekker relaxed naar huis ging!
Gezichten gebruik ik wel vaker en felle kleuren ook, maar in de richting van PopArt eigenlijk niet, dus ook voor mij weer eens iets anders... Hieronder de 1e page die ik maakte. Gewerkt met vlakken door een stencil gekleurd met Oxide en waterpen en het gezicht is met een kwast en Oxide en water al deppend gedaan om het luchtige effect te houden.
On a stampping afternoon with Josje I totally threw her out of her comfort aone by sugesting a mix of a face/eyes and PopArt. First we looked at a lot of samples at Pinterest, drinking tea and chatting a lot and slowly we both came p with some ideas and we got making some Art Journal Pages. So great to see how she made two so different beautiful pages with both the PopArt and the faces and went home so relaxed!
I use faces and bright colours often, but in a PopArt way not so much, so for me it was a challenge to... Below the first page I made. I colored the areas with Oxide and a waterbrush. The face is coloured by dabbing a brush with Oxide and water to continue the bit light effect.
