Dit jaar waren er gelukkig weer wat beurzen waar je naar toe kon, al waren het er maar een paar... De Art Specially heb ik overgeslagen vanwege onze vakantie, maar naar "De Knots" ben ik wel gegaan. Gezellig een hele dag samen met Josje op pad. Het was fijn dat dat weer kon! Natuurlijk ben ik niet met lege handen thuisgekomen, maar minstens zo belangrijk vond ik het zien van een aantal mensen die ik via het stempelen ken en natuurlijk wat van de winkeliers en leveranciers die steeds weer de nieuwe dingen leveren waar wij graag mee werken... Top was het om Annelies van Crealies na zo'n lange tijdweer te zien en heel leuk om weer iets als Gast Designer voor op het Crealiesblog te mogen maken.
Al van het begin dat ik Crealies ontdekte ben ik voornamelijk gegaan voor de stencils en leuke, meest kleine stempels van dat merk en hier en daar heb ik ook wat stanzen gecombineerd in eerdere projecten, maar deze keer ben ik helemaal gegaan voor een van de blending stencils. Gelijk toen deze blending stencils uitkwamen wist ik dat ik met een van hen; de rechthoekige met de 6 : "geruwde" vierkante een winters raam wou maken. Ik weet dat dit heel anders is als blenden, maar wilde jou laten zien dat er nog veel meer mogelijk is met deze stencils.
Nadat ik het inkijkje had gemaakt voelde ik dat ik echt nog niet klaar was om het stencil weg te leggen... Dus heb ik ook nog een "uitkijkje" gemaakt. Ik ben benieuwd welke jij het leukst vind?
This year luckely there were some events again where we could go to, even if there were only a few... The Art Specially I skipped because of our holiday, but "the Knots" os the one were I went to. Having fun for a whole day together with Josje. It felt so good that we could again! Ofcourse I didn't came home empty handed, but evenly as important was that I saw some of the people whichI got to know through stamping and a bunch of shopkeepers and busines-owners who deliver the fun new things where we like to work with.It was great to see Annelies from Crealies again after such a long time and great that I was asked to be a Guest Designer for the Crealiesblog again.
From the moment I discovered Crealies, I mostly used their stencils and fun, mostly small stamps. I combined them sometimes with one of the beautiful dies in earlier projects, but this time I went with one of the blending stencils. From the moment the blending stencils were released I knew that I wanted to create a window with one of them; the straight-angled with the 6 distressed squares. I know that this is different from blending with them, but I wanted to show that you can do so much more with these stencils.
After making the "looking in" it felt not right to put the stencil aside... So I"also made the "looking out". Wich one is your favorite?

BeantwoordenVerwijderenErg leuk dat je voor Crealies gastdesigner mocht zijn en ik ben ook fan van haar kleine stempeltjes en enkele dies en stencils.
En inmiddels zijn helaas de winkels weer op dicht, dus gaan we ons weer opsluiten in de hobbykamer. Dat is dan wel weer een klein gelukje, maar toch maakt het mij wel een beetje deprimerend. Gisteren heb ik mijn derde vaccinatie gehad.
