Als je best vaak technieken probeert die je nog nooit gedaan hebt, of dingen doet die je al heel lang niet meer gedaan hebt, verzamel je heel wat achtergronden. Dus besloten Josje en ik op een van onze donderdagmiddagen eens aan de slag te gaan met veel van die eerder gemaakte achtergronden. En dat schoot heel snel op, dus gebruikte ik lekker veel achtergronden. Zo ook deze, die echt al heel wat jaartjes in mijn achtergrondendoos lag... De bloemen had ik eerder al uitgestanst; die stanzen zijn niet van mij... En ik heb hierop heerlijk kunnen tekenen:
If you try new techniques that you have never done or do things that you didn't do for a long time, you collect a whole lot of backgrounds. That made that Josje and I got working with a lot of those backgrounds on one of our thursday afternoons. And that meant I worked so quicly; I used up a lot of the backgrounds. This is one of them that was in my backgroundbox for some years... I had die cut the flowers earlier; the dies are not mine... And I loved drawning on this one:
