Linten / Ribons

Het is niet altijd zo makkelijk om voor de donderdagmiddagen een nieuwe techniek of thema te vinden of bedenken... Dus op een van die donderdagmiddagen was het door mij verzonnen thema een hele simpele; "Strepen"... Dus strepen op je papier, hoe en waarvan dat mochten we helemaal zelf weten. Een thema dus waar je alle kanten mee uit kunt. En dat deed ik dus; van CaS tot met met een stencil werken, een hoop linten en een hoop papieren repen gebruiken... Deze was de 1e die ik maakte en is eerst voor een groot deel beplakt met stukken lint in felle kleuren. Het vrouwenhoofd en de tekst heb ik op een apart vel aquarelpapier gemaakt en met foamtape erop  geplakt. De anderen die ik maakte volgen later...

It isn't always so easy to come up with a technique or theme for the Thursday afternoons... So on one of them The theme I choose was simple; "Stripes"... So stripes on your paper, how and made of whatever you want. So a theme that stretches very far. And that was just what I did; from CAS to working with a stencil, using a lot of ribbons and using a lot of paper stripes. This was the first one that I made. I glued bright-coloured ribbon pieces over the almost all of the card. Stamped the womans head and text on some aquarelpaper and glued it on with foamtape. The others that I made on this thurday afternoon will follow later...
