TIME OUT Challenge #80

De twee weken van de TIME OUT Challenge zijn weer voorbij gevlogen, dus hebben we vandaag weer een nieuwe challenge voor je! Als uitdaging hebben we deze keer de uitspraak: "when it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars" voor je. Ik heb wel allerlei kleuren gebruikt, maar niet alle kleuren van de regenboog... En ik heb de Precision press weer erbij gepakt.  Dit is wat ik ervan maakte:
The two weeks of the TIME OUT Challenge are gone so quickly, so we have a new challenge for you starting today! The challenge this time is the quote: "when it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars". I used all kinds of colours, but not all the colours of the rainbow... And I used the Precision press again. This is what I made:

Vandaag weer een dag die al begint met zon; ik word daar zo vrolijk van! We hebben een druk weekend voor de boeg maar ik heb ook reuze zin om te stempelen, dus heb ik tussendoor wat CaS-kaarten gemaakt.
This saterday starts with sun; it makes my feel so happy! We have a bussy weekend ahead, but I also feel like stamping, so I made some CAS- cards between all I had to do.

Fee met washitape / Fairy with washitape

Een van m'n voornemens van dit jaar is om meer washitape te gebruiken. Ik heb namelijk een heleboel; een lade vol! Ziet er hartstikke mooi uit, maar het is gekocht om te gebruiken ipv dat ik bijna geen plek meer in de lade heb :), dus voor deze kaart de lade maar weer eens opengetrokken:
One of my intentions for this year is to use more washitape. I have a lot of them; one of my drawers is totally filled with them! Looks so good, but I bought them to use them instead of having no room in my drawer anymore :), so for this card I "dived" into my washitape drawer:

Alweer de laatste van mijn Gast DesignTeamposten bij Chocolat Baroque van deze maand...
Already the last of my Guest DesignTeamposts at Chocolat Baroque this month...


Deze keer heb ik weer iets gemaakt dat je hobbykamer kan aankleden en toch praktisch te gebruiken is; Een glazen pot die ik gebruik voor stiften heb ik "aangekleed".
This time I made something that can make your craftroom an inspirationplace and still is so usefull. I have pimped a glass jar that I use for markers:

Stempels: Chocolate Baroque Floribunda
Inkt: Versafine Onyx black,
Overige: Glazen pot, wit linnencardstock en Caran D'Áche kleurpotloden

Werkwijze:
Snijd een stuk linnen cardstock op maat voor de glazen pot die je wilt gebruiken.
Stempel de Floribunda net-stempel met zwarte inkt net zo vaak tot je aan het einde van de strook bent, start aan de linkerkant en masker de linkse grote roos elke keer. Ik heb een stempelliniaal gebruikt on het net-patroon te laten aansluiten.
Kleur alle bladeren en rozen met potlood.
Workproces:
Cut a piece of linen cardstock that fits the glass jar that you want to use.
Stamp the Floribunda net-stamp with black ink several times, starting at the left side and each time masking just the big rose on the left side, untill the end of your piece of linnen cardstock. I use a stampingtool to match the net-patern.
Colour all the leaves and flowers with crayons.

Gespeeld met een grote speelkaart / Played with a big playingcard

Een tijdje terug liet ik je zien waar Rosita en ik aan bezig geweest waren buiten haar comfort-zone hier. 's Middags was het tijd voor mij om uit mijn comfortzone te stappen. en natuurlijk wilden we de nieuwe Distress Oxides proberen die ik meegebracht had! We zijn begonnen op een grote speelkaart en Rosita had broodpapier bespoten met mooie mists en dat hebben we hier in stukjes gescheurd als achtergrond gebruikt:
A while back i showed you where Rosita and I worked on outside her comfortzone here. In the afternoon it was toime for me to step out of my comfortzone! Ofcourse we wanted to try the Distress Oxides that I brought! We started on a large playcard and Rosita had prepared some "breadpaper" with beautiful mists, wich we ripped in small pieces and used as our background:

Workshop Gelato's

Afgelopen donderdag heb ik weer een workshop bij De Scrapheap gegeven. De enthousiaste dames gingen aan de slag om een landschap/scene te maken met Gelatos. De meeste van de dames zijn een eind uit hun comfortzone gestapt en hebben weer in een heel gezellig sfeer hard gewerkt.
Dit is het voorbeeld dat ik tijdens de workshop begonnen ben en later thuis afgewerkt heb:
Last thursday I gave a class at the Scrapheap again. The enthousiastic ladies worked with Gelatos to create a scenery with Gelatos. A lot of them stapped out of their comfortzone and worked hard in a fine and fun groupe. 
This is the example that I started in the class and finished at home:

Today a gray looking day here and a wet one t... so I made my day cheerful with ink, stamps and paper in a CAS-style... And hope it will be dry later on during the hockeygame...

Gastdesigner Team Chocolate Baroque 15 minuten kaarten 4 / Guestdesigner Team Chocolate Baroque 15 minute cards 4

Deze maand is het niet alleen mijn "beurt" om 3 Gast-Designerposts op het Chocolate Baroque designteamblog te verzorgen, maar heb ik ook weer een aantal 15 minuten kaarten gemaakt. Wij willen laten zien dat het heel leuk is om ook kaarten in een kortere tijd te maken en dat ook die heel mooi kunnen zijn! Dus vandaag staan er hier en gisteren op het Chocolate Baroqueblog weer twee kaarten van mij. Deze keer 2 heel verschillende:
This month is is not only my "turn" to post 3 Guest Designerpost at the Chocolate Baroque designteamblog, but I again made some 15 minute cards. We would like to show how much fun it is to make cards in a short time and that they can be verry pretty! So today there are two of them from me on my blog and yesterday on the Chocolate Baroqueblog:

Deze kaart gemaakt door simpelweg met zwart te stempelen en daarna te kleuren met Distress inkt en een waterpen.
I made this card by stamping with black and coloured all with Distress Ink and a waterbrush

Inkt: Memento Rubarb stark en Grape jelly, DI Spun sugar, Dusty concord en Fired brick
Overige: Aquarelpapier, waterpen, blendingtool en rood cardstock

Bij deze kaart heb ik eerst een masker voor de bloem gemaakt, daarna met DI in rood en geel gestempeld en met een waterpen verder gekleurd gewoon door van de gestempelde randen het pigment te nemen. Daarna met de stempelliniaal de bloem nog eens met Memento gestempeld. Daarna de achtergrond bloem 2x gestempeld en gekleurd door met de waterpen de kleur van de randen te nemen. Nog een bedankt-tekst met rood erop gestempeld en op rood cardstock geplakt.

For this card I made a mask for the flower. Start by stamping the flower in DI red and yellow and colour it with a waterbrush by just taking some pigment from the stamped edges. Then you Stamp the flower a second time with Memento inks.

Stamp the two flowers in the background and again colour by taking some pigment with a waterbrusch from the edges. Stamp a "Thank you" sentiment in red and glue it on red cardstock

Taday again a post that you can also see at the Chocolate Baroqueblog. My second one for the Guest Designteam at Chocolate Baroque this month.

Deze keer heb ik wat kadootjes gemaakt. twee kleine en een grote notitieblok waarvoor ik de voorkanten gemaakt heb:
This time I made some presents. Two small and one large notepad on wich I stamped and coloured the front:

Stempels: Chocolate Baroque Floral Notes
Inkt: Versafine Onyx black
Overige: Notitieblok, aquarelpapier, Precision press, Zig Clean Colorbrushes, Elegantwriterpen en plaklint

Werkwijze:
Kleur rechtstreeks op de stempel met de elegant writerpen. Zorg dat je alle lijnen bewerkt hebt. Spray vanaf afstand een heel lichte mist water over de stempel. Stempel deze op een stuk aquarelpapier. Ga nu met een waterpen of kwast en water de lijnen uitvloeien. Bij meer of minder water of bij deppen met een stuk keukenpapier voordat het helemaal droog is krijg je een andere kleur.

Workproces:
Colour directly with the elegant writerpen on the stamp. Make sure that you don't miss a piece. Mist a very light mist of water over the stamp en stamp it on a piece of aquarelpaper. Work the lines with a waterbrush or a brush and some water. The colour will different by more or less water and dapping with a piece of kitchenpaper before it is dry.

Werkwijze voor beide kleine:
Stempel de bloemen met de Precision press, nadat je de stempel rechtstreeks met de Zig Clean Colorbrushes hebt ingekleird en heel licht met water bemist hebt. Trek met een waterpen of kwast en water vanaf de lijnen kleur in de afbeelding. Nog de tekst stempelen, het blokje bekleden met plaklint over de plakkant en het aquarelpapier met de afbeelding op het blokje plakken.

Workproces for both small ones:
Stamp the flowers with the Precision press, after you coloured the stamp directly with Zig Clean Colorbrushes and put a very ligt mist of water over it. Pull the colour into the images with a waterbrush or a pensel and water. Glue some ribbon on the glued side of the paperpad and glue the aquarelpaper on the notepad.
