Sneeuwlandschap / Snowlandscape

Op een van de donderdagmiddagen was ik vanwege het (toen) koude weer helemaal in de stemming om iets met een sneeuwman te maken. Bij een winterse stempel set van Sheena Douglass had ik ook de stans van de sneeuwman gekocht toen die in de aanbieding was, dus leek het me wel leuk die ook te gebruiken, nadat ik al een Art Journal Page met alleen de stempel en een CaS-kaart (hier) had gemaakt. 

Ik had mijn Elegant writer pennen meegenomen en wilde eens zien of ik daar ook een mooi effect mee kon krijgen als ik na het stempelen de lijnen die gestempeld waren overtrok met die pennen en er daarna met een kwast en water overheen zou gaan... Dat lukte me op de gestanste en gestempelde sneeuwman, al kwam er alleen een blauwe kleur tevoorschijn, terwijl je ook een paars/roze kleur eruit kunt halen als je de stempel direct met de pen kleurt en daarna met water bespuit en afdrukt. Op de stempel heb ik wel direct met de Elegant writerpennen gewekt en kon ik, door het vele water dat ik gebruikte, ook de paarse en roze tinten uit de inkt tevoorschijn halen:

On one of the fun Thursday afternoons I was really in the mood to make something with a snowman because of the (then) cold weather. I also bought the snowman die with a winter stamp set from Sheena Douglass when it was on sale, so I thought it would be fun to use that too, after I already had an Art Journal Page with just the stamp and a CaS- map (here).

I had brought my Elegant writer pens with me and wanted to see if I could get a nice effect with them if, after stamping, I covered the lines that had been stamped, measured those pens and then went over them with a brush and water... That I succeeded on the die-cut and stamped snowman, although only a blue color emerged, while you can also get a purple/pink color out if you color the stamp directly with the pen and then spray it with water and print. In the stamp I directly painted with the Elegant writer pens and, due to the large amount of water I used, I was also able to bring out the purple and pink tones from the ink:
