Ergens, tussen alle spulletjes die in mijn hobbykamertje staan, staat een doos met afdrukjes die ik in het begin, toen ik pas begon met stempelen maakte. Ik was toen heel veel aan het proberen en het ging er mij om om goed te stempelen plus een stempel (waar ik er toen echt niet zo veel van had) meer dan een paar keer te gebruiken als deze nog nieuw was. Soms door tijdgebrek en soms doordat een idee wat ik ermee had later in de tijd me toch niet zo leuk leek, kwamen er heel wat afdrukken in een doos terecht en heb ik daar al een hele tijd niet meer naar omgekeken, Maar, nu ik stukje voor beetje mijn hobbykamertje weer eens aan het opruimen en veranderen ben, kom ik die doos natuurlijk tegen... en ik  besloot daarmee, naast nog heel wat andere dingen zoals achtergronden en bloemen en ponzen en lintjes en nog meer dingen die ik tegenkom, aan de slag te gaan. Zo zijn deze kaarten dan ook ontstaan; met iets dat er al een tijdje lag samen met de ideeën die er nu bij mij voor naar boven kwamen.

Somewhere, among all the things in my hobby room, there is a box with prints that I made in the beginning, when I first started stamping. I was trying a lot at the time and it was all about stamping well plus using a stamp (which I really didn't have that many at that time) more than a few times when it was still new. Sometimes due to lack of time and sometimes because an idea what I had with it later in time didn't seem so beautiful to me, a lot of prints ended up in a box and I haven't looked in it for a long time, But, now that I I'm cleaning up and changing my hobby room a bit, of course I come across that box... and conclude with that too, in addition to a lot of other things such as backgrounds and flowers and punches and ribbons and even more things that I come across now, I want to do something with them. That is how these cards were created; with something that had been there for a while along with the ideas that came to me for it now.

Ik heb, net als elke keer weer, wat moeite met het overschakelen naar de zomertijd (wou dat ze die afschaffen!), ik wens jou succes daarmee!
