Felle kleuren en rondjes / Bright colours and circles

Met de konijnenstans waar ik al eerder een CaS project mee maakte kan je natuurlijk veel meer... Je kunt het "beesie" echt overal op en in zetten... Zo heb ik ook deze kaart/Art Journal Page gemaakt met een van de achtergronden uit mijn doos. Heel fijn; mijn stapel achtergronden slinkt gestaag zo en ik werd heel erg blij van het maken van deze!

With the bunnie die-cut wich I used earlier on a CAS project is so much more possible... You can really put this animal on and in everything... So that is how I nade this card/Art Journal Page with one of the backgrounds out of my box. Feels so good; my pile of backgrounds declines slowly and I felt so happy while making this one!

Ballonnen / Baloons

Als je best vaak technieken probeert die je nog nooit gedaan hebt, of dingen doet die je al heel lang niet meer gedaan hebt, verzamel je heel wat achtergronden. Dus besloten Josje en ik op een van onze donderdagmiddagen eens aan de slag te gaan met veel van die eerder gemaakte achtergronden. Die en uitgestanstte afbeeldingen en nog heel wat meer meegenomen en aan de slag gegaan. Deze achtergrond is gemaakt met een scheerschuimtechniek gemaakt en ik heb het wit en blauw uit de achtergrond laten terugkomen in de stansjes die ik gebruikte. Een tekst erbij gezocht en dat was het; ik wilde vooral de beweging in de achtergrond laten uitkomen...

If you try new techniques that you have never done or do things that you didn't do for a long time, you collect a whole lot of backgrounds. That made that Josje and I got working with a lot of those backgrounds on one of our thursday afternoons. I took those and some die cut pieces and a lot more things with me and got going. This background is made with a shavongfoam technique and I took the blue and white from the background to use on my die cuts. Found a text that I liked and that was it; I didn;t want to loose all the movement in the background...

Magnolia's

Als je best vaak technieken probeert die je nog nooit gedaan hebt, of dingen doet die je al heel lang niet meer gedaan hebt, verzamel je heel wat achtergronden. Dus besloten Josje en ik op een van onze donderdagmiddagen eens aan de slag te gaan met veel van die eerder gemaakte achtergronden. Die en uitgestanstte afbeeldingen en nog heel wat meer meegenomen en fanatiek aan de slag gegaan. Deze achtergrond vroeg echt om iets lichts zodat het eruit kon 'springen'. Toen ik dacht aan onze tuin en waar ik naar uitkeek om daarin te zien kwam ik op de sneeuwballenboom-bloesem en de magnoliabloemen. Van de 1e heb ik niets om die te maken, maar ik heb in de feestmaand deze mooie magnolia stanzen gekregen, dus heb ik die hier voor het eerst gebruikt. Ik vind ze super mooi, dus die ga je nog wel vaker zien...

This background just 'asked' for something light-coloured, so it wpuld 'pop' . When I tought of what I am looking most for to see blooming next in the garden I thought about the snowballtree blossom and the magnoliaflowers. I don't have anything to make with a snowballtree blossom, but I got these beautiful magnolia dies during the holiday season, so I used them here for the first time. I think they are super beautiful, so you will see them ofter here...

Flamingo in cirkels / Flamingo in circles

Als je best vaak technieken probeert die je nog nooit gedaan hebt, of dingen doet die je al heel lang niet meer gedaan hebt, verzamel je heel wat achtergronden. Dus besloten Josje en ik op een van onze donderdagmiddagen eens aan de slag te gaan met veel van die eerder gemaakte achtergronden. Die en uitgestanstte afbeeldingen en nog heel wat meer meegenomen en aan de slag gegaan. Deze achtergrond vroeg echt om een dier dat ik associeer met roze, dus werd het deze flamingo en de cirkels vroegen om meer cirkels, dus heb ik deze uitgestanste ringen die ik in bijpassende kleuren bewerkte, gebruikt. Een klein frame dat ik ook kleurde en een tekststicker maakte het af.

Thia background just 'asked' for an animal that I associate with pink, so I used a flamingo. And the circles 'asked' for more circles, so I used these circles that I coloured in fitting colours. A small frame and a tectsticker finished this one of.
