Gast Designer Team Chocolate Baroque 19 Een herfstwandeling / An Autumn walk

Heerlijk het is weer tijd voor mijn Gast Designer Team-posten bij Chocolate Baroque! Drie keer deze maand zie je niet alleen hier, maar ook op het Chocolate Baroque Designerblog creaties van mij gemaakt met de mooie stempels van Chocolate Baroque...
Deze week de eerste; een Art Journal page met een herfst tafareel dat zo goed past bij wat ik deze week tijdens een wandeling zag:

This week the first; an Art Journal page with an Autumn-scene that really fits what  saw on a walk this week:

Inkt: Diverse Tombow Dual Bruspennen, Versafine Antique sepia
Overige: Aquarel- en maskerpapier, waterpen en Precision press


Werkwijze:
Plaats de 1e paddenstoelstempel in de Precision press en kleur direct met de Tombows op de stempel. Herhaal dit met en zonder watermist en kleur in met de waterpen. Masker en zet de 2 volgende stempels op dezelfde manier op je page. Masker de volgende paddenstoelenstempel en plaats de grote zaaddozenstempel in de Precision press. Herhaal weer het direct kleur aanbrengen op de stempel met de Tombows, bespuiten met water (of niet) en uitwateren met de waterpen.

Workproces:
Place the first mushroomstamp on the Precision press and colour it directly on the stamp with Tombows or another brand watercolour brushes. Repeat this with and without watermist and wash-out with a waterbrush. Mask the mushroomstamp and stamp and colour the next 2 stamps i the same way with the Precision press on your page. Mask the 2nd mushroomstamp and place the big flowerstamp in your Precision press. Stamp and colour it again with and without watermist and wash-out with a waterbrush. Stamp just the word Autumn from the textstamp in brown.

Vandaag alweer een zonnige dag! Heerlijk en dus lekker in de tuin aan het werken en tussendoor ook nog wat gemaakt voor verschillende challenges. Ik ben bang dat ik met het maken van de Coins vorige week weer helemaal terug ben bij mijn verslaving om telkens cirkels op mijn werk te gebruiken...dus zo her en der zul je er weer tegen blijven komen voorlopig...
Today again a sunny day! I really like that and so I work in the garden and make some for severall challenges. I'm afraid that with making the coins last week I am totally back into my addiction of using cirkles everytime on my work...so you will find them again reguarly in the comming posts...

Zomer Challenge 51-55 / Summer Challlenge 51-55

Het is vandaag eindelijk minder warm; het heeft zelfs geregend! De afgelopen week was nog steeds warm hier; i.p.v. de gewoonlijke 25-30 graden zaten we nu rond de 36-38 graden! En het is het grootste gedeelte van de tijd geen pretje om in mijn hobbykamertje te zijn; het is de kleinste kamer van het huis en dus ook het snelst warm...
Toch heb ik doorgezet en weer vijf kaarten voor de Zomer Challenge gemaakt, de laatste vandaag. Na vandaag nog maar 6 dagen een uitdaging en dan is het weer voorbij...
Today it finally is a bit gooler; it even rained today! It was warm here this week; instead of the normal 25-30 degrees we are round the 36-38 degrees! And it is no fun most of the time to be in my craftroom; it is the smallest room in the house, so the quickest to get warm...
Still I have managed to make another five cards for the Summer Challenge, the last one today. There are only 6 days/challenges left and then it is over again...



Dag 51: Restjes papier / Snippets

Dag 53: Wat zit er in je tas? / What is in your handbag?

Wel dat is makkelijk; ik gebruik meestal geen tas, wel een foto-tas en boodschappentas, dus zit er meestal niets in een mijn handtassen... Gelukkig vond ik er een waar naast wat stof ook nog een kaartje en een potlood zat...
Well; that is an easy one; I normaly don't use a handbag, a photocamerabag and groucerybag oké, so there is nothing in my handbags... Luckely I found one with a businesscard and pencil in it next to a bit dust...

Zo dat is mooi! Het weekend start hier met een witte wereld! Die zal niet blijven liggen, want vanmiddag gaat de temperatuur voor het eerst na veel koude dagen weer omhoog! En wat een verschil dat er geen wind is; het voelt (bijna) aangenaam... Vanavond weer wat tijd met stempels, stencils en kleuren kunnen doorbrengen en voor de CaS zaterdag deze gemaakt.
So that is beautiful! The weekend starts here with a with snowy world! Won't be for long, because this afternoon temps are running up for the first time in many days! And what a different it makes that there is no wind today; it feels (almost) nice... This evening I spent some time with stamps, stencils and colours and made these for CAS saterday:

Samen stempelen / Stamping together

Het heerlijke van samen afspreken met een andere stempelaar voor thee, kletsen en stempelen, is dat je heel andere stempels kunt gebruiken en van elkaar weer nieuwe dingen leert. In januari was ik bij Josje en zijn we samen aan de gang gegaan met de Precision Pres en waterbrushes. Niet zoveel gemaakt (teveel gekletst), maar toch deze afgemaakt:
The best part of meeting another stamper for tea, talking and stamping, is, that you can use different stamps and learn new things. In January I was at Josje's home and we played with the Precision Pres and waterbrushes. We didn't make so much (to much talking), but finished this one:

Vandaag weer een stukje verder met de kaarten voor de Zomer Challenge. Ik heb er weer 4 voor je en we gaan langzaam naar de laatste uitdagingen...
Today a bit further with cards for the Summer Challenge. I have four to show you and slowly we go to the last challenges...



Zomer Challenge: 49 Maak iets met een kleur die je lelijk of bijna lelijk vind / Summer Challenge: 49 Make something with a colour you don't like
Ik heb geen kleur die ik echt lelijk vind, maar wel wat kleuren die ik wat minder gebruik. In dit geval had ik de vlinder met kleuren DO gemaakt en vond het mengsel van roze en blauw echt niet mooi...dus toen een aantal dagen later deze uitdaging kwam vond ik 'm daar helemaal geschikt voor!
I don't have a colour that I think is ugly, but I have some colours I don't use often. On this card I made the butterfly with some DO-colours and didn't like the colour that came out on the spots where the pink and blue overlapped... so when a few days later this challenge came... I found this card totally suiting!

Zomer Challenge: 50 Chevron / Summer Challenge: 50 Chevron
Ik was aan het spelen met wat nieuwe kleuren DO, een stencil en clear gesso. De clear gesso gaf niet het effect wat ik zocht, dus eroverheen gegaan met hologram gel en een lijntje eromheen getrokken. Daarna de chevrons met witte verf gestempeld en de met Dylusions bespoten vlinder van een van mijn workshops eraan toegevoegd.
I was playing with some of the new colours DO, a stencil and clear gesso. The clear gesso didn't give the effect I wanted, so I put hologram gel over it and draw a line round the danser. Stamped the chevrons with white paint and glued the with Dylusionsprays coloured butterfly from one of my classes on it.

Zomer Challenge 23+24+25 / Summer Challenge 23+24+25

En weer verder met de kaarten voor de Zomer Challenge! De uitdaging traditie heb ik niet gezocht in een algemene Nederlandse traditie, maar in een van ons; namelijk elk jaar weer wat meer van het prachtige Nederland verkennen! Ik heb er een vergezicht van gemaakt dat ik mijn leven lang al ken... Maar soms word je echt even uit je comfortzone gegooid met een van de uitdagingen, zoals bij 24 een blaadje uit de tuin; Hoe maak ik daar een beetje leuk geheel van? Maar schaduw vond ik dan weer makkelijk; gewoon de schaduw techniek gebruikt... Maar kijk zelf maar wat het weer geworden is:

And again I made some cards for the Summer Challenge! With the challenge traditon I didn't go in the direction of the "normal" Dutch traditions, but took our own; we try to explore a not-visit-before bit of the beautiful The Netherlands each year! I made a scene that Iknow my hole live... But sometimes the challenges throw you out of your comfortzone, like #24 a leaf from the garden; how can I make something of that that looks like it all belonged together? But the shadowchallenge was an easy one; I just used the shadow-stamping-technique... But look yourself what I made of them:

Voor deze uitdaging ben ik naar de tuin gelopen en heb een blad van de klimhortensia geplukt. Bij het stempelen werd het blad iets gekneusd en kwam het heerlijk frisse aroma los, dus nu ruikt m'n hobbykamer heerlijk naar buiten!

TIME OUT Challenge #80

De twee weken van de TIME OUT Challenge zijn weer voorbij gevlogen, dus hebben we vandaag weer een nieuwe challenge voor je! Als uitdaging hebben we deze keer de uitspraak: "when it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars" voor je. Ik heb wel allerlei kleuren gebruikt, maar niet alle kleuren van de regenboog... En ik heb de Precision press weer erbij gepakt.  Dit is wat ik ervan maakte:

Vandaag weer een post die je ook op het Chocolate Baroqueblog kunt vinden. De tweede van mij voor het Gast DesignTeam van Chocolate Baroque deze maand alweer...
Taday again a post that you can also see at the Chocolate Baroqueblog. My second one for the Guest Designteam at Chocolate Baroque this month.

Deze keer heb ik wat kadootjes gemaakt. twee kleine en een grote notitieblok waarvoor ik de voorkanten gemaakt heb:
This time I made some presents. Two small and one large notepad on wich I stamped and coloured the front:

Inkt: Versafine Onyx black
Overige: Notitieblok, aquarelpapier, Precision press, Zig Clean Colorbrushes, Elegantwriterpen en plaklint

Werkwijze:
Kleur rechtstreeks op de stempel met de elegant writerpen. Zorg dat je alle lijnen bewerkt hebt. Spray vanaf afstand een heel lichte mist water over de stempel. Stempel deze op een stuk aquarelpapier. Ga nu met een waterpen of kwast en water de lijnen uitvloeien. Bij meer of minder water of bij deppen met een stuk keukenpapier voordat het helemaal droog is krijg je een andere kleur.

Workproces:
Colour directly with the elegant writerpen on the stamp. Make sure that you don't miss a piece. Mist a very light mist of water over the stamp en stamp it on a piece of aquarelpaper. Work the lines with a waterbrush or a brush and some water. The colour will different by more or less water and dapping with a piece of kitchenpaper before it is dry.

Werkwijze voor beide kleine:
Stempel de bloemen met de Precision press, nadat je de stempel rechtstreeks met de Zig Clean Colorbrushes hebt ingekleird en heel licht met water bemist hebt. Trek met een waterpen of kwast en water vanaf de lijnen kleur in de afbeelding. Workproces for both small ones:
Stamp the flowers with the Precision press, after you coloured the stamp directly with Zig Clean Colorbrushes and put a very ligt mist of water over it. Pull the colour into the images with a waterbrush or a pensel and water. Glue some ribbon on the glued side of the paperpad and glue the aquarelpaper on the notepad.
