Valentijn / Valentine

Niet dat wij er veel aan doen, maar elk jaar maak ik, mits ik inspiratie krijg, een kaart voor mijn man. Dit jaar kwam de inspiratie heel laat, maar het was leuk om deze voor hem te maken...

En afgelopen donderdag zijn Josje en ik naar de "Knots" geweest (bij gebrek aan de "Paper Passion" die opeens niets meer organiseert) en heb ik heel wat leuke dingen op de kop getikt waar ik veel mee kan maken. Voor een lange tijd zit ik weer goed!

We don't do much about Valentine, but I each year I make, if I have inspiration, a card for my husband. This year the inspiration came late, but ut was fun to make this one for him...

And last Thursday Josje and I went to the "Knots"(while the "PaperPassion" suddenly doesn't organize anything any more) and I hav picked uo a lot of nice things wich I can make a lot of things with. I'll be good for a long time!

Moederdagkaart / Mother's day card

En hier is 'ie' dan: mijn moederdagkaart! Mijn moeder houd van rozen en deze stempel had ik speciaal voor haar kaart bewaard. Wat rondjes gesponst, wat tekst erdoorheen gestempeld, de dame gesponst en de rozen ingekleurd, de tekst erbij gestempeld zodat de dame niet zo 'zweefde' en alles op een kaartbasis geplakt. Dat was het...

Het was een heerlijk lang weekend; warm, droog en heel veel buiten, we hebben zelfs ge-BBQ-ed!

And here it is: my Mother's day card! My Mom loves roses so I had saved this stamp for her card. I sponged some circles, stamped text in the circles, sponged the lady, coloured the roses, stamped the text underneath the lade so she would have something to stand on and glued it all on a cardbase. That was all...

It was a lovely long weekend; warm, dry and being outside a lot; we even did have a BBQ!

CaS in het weekend 293 / CAS in the weekend 293

Gisteren een heerlijke start van het lange weekend hier met heel veel zon. Dus lekker genoten in de tuin met wat thee en wat te lezen... Prima als je je weer goed voelt! Dankjewel voor jullie beterschap wensen!
Vandaag ben ik als 1e aan de slag gegaan met een voor mij nieuwe stempelset die ik gewonnen heb bij de challenge van Ink Art Design met 4 theedrinkende dames. Ik heb ze nog maar even afgedrukt in onze huidige wereld met 1,5 meter afstand...
Deze kaart gaat in mijn Vrouwen Art Journal en is niet zo CaS geworden als ik voor ogen had, doordat het sponzen zo lekker ging...
De kaart die je hier als 1e ziet heb ik dus als  laatste gemaakt vandaag (volg je het nog?). Daarvoor heb ik het stencil dat ik eerder gebruikte om te sponzen bespoten en daarop een vel aquarelpapier gelegd. Zo krijg je je stencil schoon en een mooie achtergrond voor een volgend project. Deze is meer CaS geworden:

Today I worked with ta (for me)  new stampset that I won at the challenge at Ink Art Designs with 4 tea-drinking ladies. I stamped them in our actual world with 1,5 meters distance...
This card wil go into my Womans Art Journal and didn't turned out as CAS as I wanted it to be, maenly while I enjoyed the sponging so much...

CaS in het weekend 290 Moederdag / CAS in the weekend 290 Mother's day

Héhé eindelijk terug op mijn blog... Nadat we gisteren en eergisteren heerlijk van het warme weer genoten hebben en ondertussen heel wat dingen hier in huis afgewerkt hebben, bleef er weinig tijd over om nog iets te maken en op het blog te plaatsen. Het was ook gewoon te lekker weer om binnen te zitten!
Vandaag word het hier wat minder warm en ben ik eerst naar buiten gegaan en in de middag mijn hobbykamertje ingedoken om toch nog wat te maken.
Met alle planten en bomen die weer mooi groen en/of stralend met bloemen overal staan te pronken is mijn inspiratie deze keer van heel dichtbij gekomen:

HéHé finally back on the blog... After enjoying the warm weather yesterday and the day before and finishing a lot of work in the house, I was left with too less time to make something and put it here. Also it simply was to nice in the sun to go inside!
Today the forcast says that it will a bit less warm, so I started the day outside and later I spend some time in my little craftroom.
With all the plants blooming and the trees looking green again my inspiration came from very close to the house:

Jippie weer weekend! En zo af en toe piept de zon tussen de wolken; daar word ik vrolijk van! Vandaag echt even 'Me-time' genomen en 3 kaarten voor deze CaS in het weekend gemaakt. Ik heb over alle 3 mijn eigen thema; feest gegooid.
