Warm embossen Workshop / Heat embossing Workshop

Vandaag twee grote kaarten die ik als voorbeeld maakte voor de "warm embossen" workshop die ik afgelopen donderdag bij De Scrapheap gaf:

Ik maakte er nog twee die ik later nog laat zien. En als je de 1e van deze post in het "eggie" wil zien, moet je even binnenstappen bij De Scrapheap; daar staat deze.

Vandaag echt een dag om binnen aan de gang te gaan; geen zonnetje te zien...
Dus vanmiddag lekker aan de slag gegaan met stempels, stencils, inkt en meer.  Om wat in de CaS-stijl te maken voor de CaS zaterdag en tegelijk een poging om mijn kerstkaarten voor dit jaar af te krijgen...
Today a real nice day to stay inside; no sunshine to be seen...
So this afternoon I got some stamps, stencils, ink and more out and "played" with them. I made  somethings in CAS-style for the CAS saterday and made them christmascards so I will get them finished in time.

Ronde kerst / Round Christmas

Het is echt omgeslagen naar herfstweer, dus lekker 's avonds aan de slag met stempels! Bij Art Journey is de uitdaging deze maand: Rond en die had ik nog steeds niet gemaakt, plus ik moet zo tussendoor maar eens wat kerstkaarten gaan maken... Dus dat werd een rond centrum en daar de kerstbomen omheen gestempeld voor deze niet zo traditionele kerstkaart:
The weather here smees to have turned to more Autumn weather, so I spent the evening with stamps. The monthly challenge at Art Journey the challenge is: Round and I didn't make a card for that one and I have to start making some Christmascards... So the card got a round centre and I stamped the trees in a circle for this not-so-traditional Christmascard:

Time Out #95

De twee weken van de TIME OUT Challenge zijn weer voorbij gevlogen, dus hebben we vandaag weer een nieuwe challenge voor je! Als uitdaging hebben we deze keer "Sympathy" met als extra optie distress. Ik ben aan de slag gegaan met Distress Oxide en de pinguinstempel die ik eerder hier op een andere manier gebruikte. Dit is wat ik ervan maakte:
The two weeks of the TIME OUT Challenge are gone so quickly, so we have a new challenge for you starting today! The challenge this time is "Symphaty" and an extra option is distress. I used Distress Oxide and the Pinguinstamp that I used before in a different way here. This is what I made:

Misschien heb je al gemerkt dat ik deze week veel tekststempels met het woord "Knuffel(s)" erin op mijn werk/kaarten gebruik.

Deze tekststempels zijn gemaakt van de tekst geschreven door de in 2016 aan baarmoederhalskanker gestorven Anna Gretha Visser. Haar zus Minke verkocht deze op de Paper Passion en je  kunt ze bij haar bestellen. De opbrengst hiervan gaat naar  KWF Kankerbestrijding. De bedoeling van Anna was dat er zo veel mogelijk Knuffels doorgegeven worden aan een ieder die een Knuffel nodig heeft. Ik vind dit een heel mooie manier om Anna Gretha's wens uit te voeren. Je zult deze teksten dus nog wel vaker op mijn kaarten tegen komen. Minke heeft ook een FB-groep gemaakt voor deze Knuffel-actie waar je je handgemaakte Knuffels kunt delen.

Alweer de derde en laatste van mijn Gast DesignTeamposten bij Chocolat Baroque van deze maand.
Already the third and last of my Guest DesignTeamposts at Chocolat Baroque this month.

Deze keer twee kadoverpakkingen in de vorm van een melkpakje. De een in zomer-sfeer en de ander met een tijdloze fantasie uitstraling.
This time two boxes for a present in the shape of a milkkarton. The first in fresh summercolours and the secnd with a fantasy look.

Gebruikte materialen:
Used materials:
Stempels: Chocolate Baroque Fuchsia
Stans: Crealies
Inkt: Versafine Onyx black, DO Twisted citron, Spiced Marmelade en Wilted violet
Overige: Aquarelpapier, blendingtool en linten

Werkwijze:
Stans het melkpakje uit aquarelpapier en bewerk de delen met DO en een blendingtool. Stempel met zwart de bloemen en plak het doosje in elkaar. Maak een gat in de bovenrand en knoop hier wat linten door.
Workproces:
Cut the milk carton from aquarelpaper and make a background with a blendingtool and DO. Stamp the flowers with black and glue the milk carton together. Make a hole in the top and tie some ribbon trough it.

Stempels: Chocolate Baroque Fantasy Castles
Stans: Crealies
Inkt: Versafine Onyx black, DO Salty ocean, Wild honey en Peeled paint en DI Black shoot
Overige: Aquarel- en maskerpapier, blendingtool, waterpen en linten

Werkwijze:
Stans het melkpakje uit aquarelpapier en stempel op elk deel het kasteel, de bomen en de wolken. masker het kasteel en spons met DO de achtergrond. Verwijder de maskers en kleur de kastelen in met DI Black shooten een waterpen. Maak met die twee nog wat spetters. Lijm het pakje in elkaar. Maak een gat in de bovenrand en knoop de linten daardoor.
Workproces:
Cut the milk carton from aquarelpaper and stamp the castles, trees and clouds. Mask the castles and sponge the background with the DO and a blendingtool. Remove the masks and colour the castles with DI Black shoot and a waterbrush. Make some black spatters using DI Black shoot and a waterbrush. Glue the milk carton together. Make a hole in the top and tie some ribbon trough it.

CaS op zaterdag 176 / CAS on saterday 176

Vandaag start als een druilerige dag, dus heerlijk om binnen aan de slag te gaan... Maar voor ik aan het stempelen toekom schijnt de  zon alweer. Dus eerst maar heerlijk naar buiten gegaan...
Nadat ik vrijdag een super gezellige dag op de Paper Passion heb doorgebracht en zoveel bekende mede-stempelaars heb gezien en me onder heb gedompeld in de heerlijke wereld van het werken met papier, heb ik natuurlijk weer wat nieuwe stempels en stencils om mee aan de slag te gaan...
Een paar al gelijk gebruikt, al is de tijd zo voorbij gevlogen dat ik de 2e kaart pas op zondag maakte...
Today starts as a gray day, so I did a lot inside the house... But, before I started stamping the sun came out. So I went out first...
After being on the Paper Pasionshow and having a super day there and met so many of my blog- and stamping friends and enjoyed all the things made with paper, I came home with some new stamps and stencils. I used a few straigt away, but the time flew on saterday, so I made the 2nd card today...
