Met de hond in het voorjaar / With the dog in Spring

In mijn achtergrondendoos lag deze met de zachte pastel kleuren die ik tijdens een van de donderdagmiddagen heb gemaakt. Ik ben in een andere doos gedoken met allerlei uitgestanstte dingen en vond daarin dit meisje en haar hondje, magnoliabloemen en een tak, een fiets en een hekje en maakte er dit mee:

In my background box I found this one with the soft pastel colours that I Madem on one of the thursday afternoons. I searched in another box with all kinds of diecut images and found this girl and her little dog, magnolia flowers, a branche, a bike and a fence and made this with it:

Met de hond in een tropische bui / With the dog in a tropical state of mind

In mijn achtergrondendoos lag deze met de vrolijke stippels en op de grijze dag dat ik dit maakte, werd ik daar helemaal vrolijk van! In een van de sessies dat ik een hoop stansjes gebruikt heb om heel veel verschillende dingen uit te snijden, heb ik ook dit meisje en haar hondje uitgesneden uit zwart papier. En dat contrast was precies wat ik zocht...

In my background box I found this one with the cheerful polkadots and on a gray day like the one I made this, I perked my mood! In one of the sessions that i diecut a lot of different images, I diecut this girl and her little dog aswel from black paper. And that was the contrast I was looking for...

Caroussel

In mijn bak met achtergronden kwam ik deze tegen. Gemaakt met spray inkt en daaroverheen een zelfgemaakte glitter spray. Heel delicaat glinsterend. Het stansje van de carrousel wou ik heel erg laten glitteren, dus dat vond ik wel bij elkaar passen.

In my box with backgrounds I found this one. Made with spray ink and over it selfmade glitter spray. So it is glittering just a bit... I wanted the diecut from the carrousel to sparkle a lot, so I thought that would go well together.

Silhouettes

In mijn bak met achtergronden kwam ik deze tegen. Duidelijk een stencil op schoongemaakt en zo een mooie vage afdruk gekregen. En ik had nog deze silhouet stansjes van het kindje en haar hond liggen. Een tekst erbij gezocht die ik vond passen bij deze snoesjes en ook deze kaart kan in mijn kleine Art Journal.

In my box with backgrounds I found this one, For sure I cleaned a stencil on it and got a soft background by doing that. And I had these silhouett diecuts from a child and her dog on my table. So looked for a text to go with these cuties and this is another card to be put in my little Art Journal.

VW bus op stippels / VW van on dots

In mijn bak met achtergronden kwam ik deze tegen. Hier heb ik duidelijk een stencil op een stuk aquarelpapier schoongemaakt en zo een mooie afdruk gekregen. En die leek me wel passen bij deze nieuwe stans van een VW-busje. Geeft mij een lekker retro gevoel. Jou ook?

In my box with backgrounds I found this one. For sure I cleaned a stencil on ia piece of watercolour paper and got a colourful background by doing that. I thought this one fts so good with my new diecut of a VW-van. It gives me a fun retro-feel. Don't you think?

Dromend... / Dreaming...

Ik heb geen idee meer hoe ik jaren terug deze achtergrond gemaakt heb. Het glimt wel een beetje en dat vond ik goed passen bij een avondscene met een meisje op de maan... Januari is echt een maand om met een boek en een pot thee, of met een goede film, op de bank weg te duiken al dan niet met een lekker warme dekentje... Fijn dat ik weer een achtergrond uit mijn doos heb kunnen gebruiken! 

I have no clou how I made this background years ago. It is a bit shiny and that seemed to fit the eveningscene with the girl on the moon... January is a real good month to sit on the sofa with a pot of tea and a good book or a good movie. Maybe with a lovely warm plaid... It feels good that I got to use one of the backgrounds out of my box!

Meer nog dan eerder zijn het de donkere dagen voor Kerst; het is grijs, koud en de zon laat zich maar weinig zien... En vandaag slaat het weer van vriezen om naar net 0 graden. Komende week word het nog warmer, dus is er ook nog meer kans op regen... Ik kijk zo uit naar de kortste dag! Zodra we daar overheen zijn voelt het alsof het voorjaar er echt aankomt... Maar, voor die belofte word ingelost hebben we nog Kerstdagen en zo, dus laat ik je hier weer wat Kerstkaarten zien, nu natuurlijk in CaS-stijl en elk heel anders 

More than before these are the 'dark days before Christmas'; it is gray, cold and sunshine is spare at the moment... And today the weather changes from freezing to just about 0 degrees. The comming week it get's even warmer, so we have more chance that it is going to rain... I'm so looking forward to the shortest day! As soon as we have had that one, it feells like Spring is really comming... But, before that promise really happens, we still have Christmasdays and more, so I show you some Chriatmas cards again, ofcourse in CAS-style and all very different.
