Verhaal / Story

In maart werd dit project van mij gekozen als een van de Top Picks bij Ellibelle's "I spy with my little eye" challenge. En werd ik gevraagd om Gast Designer te zijn bij de nieuwe challenge van Mei. Tuurlijk! Die uitdagingen vind ik altijd leuk, dus graag! En dus vind je hier mijn inspiratie project voor die uitdaging. Deze keer  heeft deze als uitdaging: Monochroom. Altijd een leuke om mee aan de slag te gaan, vind ik... 

Bij het verder wat opruimen / beter indelen van mijn hobby kamer kwam ik ook de stempelset tegen die ik voor dit project voor het eerst inkt wou laten zien. Nog een kleinere set ovale stempels gebruikt om alles met elkaar te verbinden:

I always enjoy those challenges, so yes please! And that's why you find my inspiration project for that challenge in this post. This time the challenge is: Monochtome. Always a fun one to work with, I think...

While tidying up / organizing my cratroom a bit better, I came across the stampset that I wanted to show ink for the first time for this project. I also used a smaller set of oval stamps to connect everything:

CaS in het weekend 422 / CAS in the weekend 422

Soms heb je een stencil dat je wilt gebruiken, maar dan net even anders als dat je meestal een stencil gebruikt. Dat was bij mij bij dit stencil het geval. Dus heb ik de eerste keer alles in een kleur gehouden en maar een gedeelte van het stencil gebruikt. (Zie hier) Maar toen ik dat af had, was ik er toch nieuwsgierig naar hoe het zou staan als ik met zwart op de groene achtergrond zou sponzen. Dus dat ook weer met een gedeelte van het stencil gedaan en ook die vind ik mooi, maar wel iets minder rustig zo...

Sometimes you have a stencil that you want to use, but just in a bit different way as you used to. That was what I wanted to do with this stencil. So I used only one color the first time and only used a part of the stencil. (You can see that one here) But, when I had finished that one I was curious how it would look if I sponged with black on the green background. So I tried that too with again only a part of the stencil and I like this one too, but I think it is a lot less serene like this...

Soms heb je een stencil dat je wilt gebruiken, maar dan net even anders als dat je meestal een stencil gebruikt. Dat was bij mij bij dit stencil het geval. Dus heb ik maar een gedeelte van het stencil gebruikt en het in een kleur een achtergrond gegeven en ook in die kleur gesponsd en de tekst gestempeld. Ik vind het mooi rustig zo...

Sometimes you have a stencil that you want to use, but just in a bit different way as you used to. That was what I wanted to do with this stencil. So I only used a part of the stencil and gave the background the same color as the one I sponged the stencil and used the same color to stamp the text. I think it is beautifully serene like this...

Nog een keer de heks / Again the witch

Oké, ik weet dat ik nog maar pas de stempel van deze heks heb gebruikt (hier), maar 'm al opbergen, kon ik toch ook niet... En wat is leuker dan deze te combineren met een van de eerste stencils die ik ooit gekocht heb. Toen ik alles op tafel had liggen vond ik dat er nog een herfst-element bij moest, dus heb ik de varenstempel (eerder hier al gebruikt) nog een keer gebruikt.

Oké, I know that I used the witch stamp not so long ago (here), but putting it away was a thing I just couldn't do...  And it is fun to use it together with one of the first stencils I ever bought. When I had it all laying on my table I wanted to put an Autumn element with it, so I used the fern stamp (that I used earlier here) again.

Spelen met stencils 3/ Playing with stencils 3

Soms heb je na 2 keer spelen met een stempel of stencil (dinsdag en donderdag) er even genoeg van of iets anders geeft je weer nieuwe ideëen, maar met de katten stencilset had ik dat niet; ik ben gewoon doorgegaan en heb nog 2 kleinere kaarten/Pages gemaakt. 

Deze zit tussen de eerdere stijl van de 2 grotere kaarten/Pages en de CaS-stijl in en ik heb nu niet de cirkel met de kat gebruikt, maar de losse kat in de positieve en negatieve vorm. Wel heb ik het idee dat dit overdag is en degene die ik je later nog zal laten zien in de avond of nacht...

Sometimes, after 2 times (Tuesday and Thursday) playing with a stamp or stencil you are done for a while with them, but with the cat stencil set that wasn't the case; I just went on and made 2 smaller cards/pages.

This one is in between the style I used on the 2 bigger cards/Pages and the CAS-style and I didn't use the circle with the cat in it for this one, but used the single cat of the set in positive and negative shape. I do think that this is during the day and the one that I will show you her later is more in the evening or night...

CaS in het weekend 402 Meer dan 2500!/ CAS in the weekend 402 More than 2500!

Hoe ik het gemist kan hebben weet ik niet, maar ik heb meer dan 2500 posts hier gemaakt! Dat betekend dus ook meer dan 2500 projecten die ik hier aan jou heb laten zien... Wat klinkt dat als veel! Dit jaar met (bijna) elke dag een post helpt daar natuurlijk heel hard aan mee (vandaag postnummer 242 van dit jaar en post 2510 in totaal). 

Vandaag is weer een herfstige weekenddag hier; wel droog, maar niet meer die heerlijke na-zomertemperaturen... En het is een F1 weekend... dus ben ik weer meer binnen. Als altijd genoeg te doen; dus een druk weekend en vandaag geen tijd gehad/maakt om iets te maken, maar deze heb ik met veel plezier gemaakt tijdens een van de gezellige donderdagmiddagen. De grascirkel heb ik al eerder hier en hier gebruikt. Het spinnenweb is onderdeel van de set met de grascirkel en dit is de 1e keer dat ik die gebruikte.

How it is possible that I missed it, I don't know, but I have made more than 2500 posts here! That means also more than 2500 projects that I have showed here to you... That sounds like an awful lot! This year with (almost) a post every day helped pretty hard to reach that number (today post 242 of this year and 2510 in total).

Today it is another Autumn day here; dry, but no more of those nice warm after-summer temps anymore... And it is a F!-weekend... so I am inside more. As ever a lot to do; so a busy weekend and today I had/made no time to create something, but, I made this one on one of the nice Thursday afternoons. I used the grass circle stamp earlier here and here. The spiderweb is part of the set with the grass circle stamp and this is the first time I used it.

Look for the Magic...

Nog een keer een achtergrond die al lang in mijn achtergronddoos lag. Gemaakt met PanPastels vond ik 'm soms te druk, soms te 'rond' om te gebruiken. Maar. toen ik deze cirkel-gras-stempel hier voor het eerst gebruikte, wist ik gewoon dat die paste bij deze achtergrond. Wel heb ik de bovenkant van de cirkel niet gestempeld. Wat vind jij?

Again a background that was laying in my background box for ages. Made with PanPastels I sometimes thought it was too busy, sometimes to 'round' to use it. But when I used thie circle-grass stamp for the first time, I just knew that it was paerfect for this background. However I didn't stamp the upper part of the circle. What do you think?

Alweer een nieuw weekend... Heerlijk dat er droog en zo lekker warm weer  (voor de tijd van het jaar) voorspeld word... Mij kun je dan ook veel in de tuin vinden deze 2 dagen; er moet nog wat gedaan worden voor deze weer winterklaar is. Maar ook om te genieten van een heerlijke nazomertijd! 

Mijn kaart is een combinatie van nog vers gras en toch al wat van de paddenstoelen die ik her en der al zie... Een nieuwe stempel van de cirkel en grassen gebruikt, samen met de paddenstoelenstempel die ik hier gisteren al heel anders gebruikte:

Again a new weekend... Lovely that the weatherforcast is so dry and nice warm (for this time of the year)... You can find me in the garden a lot these 2 days; we have a loy to do before it is winter-ready. But I will also be there to enjoy the lovely after-Summer time!

My card is a combination of still gresh gras and already some of the mushrooms that I see in different places already... A new stamp is the circle with the grasses plus I used it together with the mushroom stamp that I used yesterday here in a very different way

Een vos met koffie? / A fox with coffee?

Nadat we even niet konden afspreken door van alles , waren Josje en ik op een donderdagmiddag weer gezellig aan de samen gang. Dit keer zijn we weer eens met PanPastels aan de gang gegaan. Was weer even geleden, dus we hadden er weer zin in. De 1e die ik maakte

Met de konijnenstans waar ik al eerder een CaS project mee maakte kan je natuurlijk veel meer... Je kunt het "beesie" echt overal op en in zetten... Zo heb ik ook deze kaart/Art Journal Page gemaakt met een van de achtergronden uit mijn doos. Heel fijn; mijn stapel achtergronden slinkt gestaag zo en ik werd heel erg blij van het maken van deze!

With the bunnie die-cut wich I used earlier on a CAS project is so much more possible... You can really put this animal on and in everything... So that is how I nade this card/Art Journal Page with one of the backgrounds out of my box. Feels so good; my pile of backgrounds declines slowly and I felt so happy while making this one!

CaS in het weekend 327 / CAS in the weekend 327

De week is voorbij gevlogen en de zaterdag ook... 

Fijn dat we hier vanaf woensdag weer met twee mensen bij elkaar op bezoek kunnen en de winkels allemaal weer open kunnen, al is het met steeds een beperkt aantal personen binnen in de winkels. En als het weer dan ook steeds meewerkt door zich van een zonnige kant te laten zien, voel ik me heel wat prettiger! Het zal wel raar voor onze dochter zijn dat ze voor het eerst college's mag gaan volgen; dat was het hele jaar verboden en nu, nu ze over 2 weken haar laatste periode van haar eerste jaar op de universiteit start krijgt ze opeens de kans een dag in de week naar de universiteit te gaan... Ze kon zich er toen het bekend werd gemaakt afgelopen week niet super druk om maken en dat begrijp ik wel; haar eerste jaar komt nooit meer terug en dit eerste jaar is zo anders als dat van anderen...

Maar goed, tussen alle kleine dingen die ik dit weekend op de planning heb, heb ik ook nog wat tijd vrijgemaakt om me heerlijk te ontspannen en wat te maken. Hoop dat jullie ze weer leuk vinden!

The week just flew by and so did the saterday...

So fine that from next wednesday on we can visit another with two people at the same time and the shops all can open , even when it is with a limited number of people in the shops. And if the weather cooporites by showing sunshine, I feel so much better!

It will be strange for our daughter that she is allowed to attend colleges for the first time; that wasn't allowed the whole year and now, now that in two weeks she will start the last period of her first year at university she suddenly gets the change to go to university one day per week... When it was announced last wednesday she couldn't be too concerned about it and I do understand that; her freshman year is never coming back and this freshman year is so different from that of others...

Anyway, among all the little things that I planned to do this weekend, I also made some time to relaxe and make some things. Hope you like them again!

This weekend will be a verry quiet one again and, with the changes from wednesday on, we will look for a different balance... In any case my parents will come here for dinner on saterday together!

Vandaag weer een van de achtergronden uit mijn doos gebruikt; dat is heerlijk om te doen. De mooie geometrische stempel van Lesia Zgharda erop gebruikt en helemaal in een Zen-modus gekomen bij het kleuren.

Today again I used again one of the backgrounds out of my boxl that feels so good to do. I used the beautiful geometric stamp from Lesia Zgharda on top of it and was totally in a Zen mode during the colouring.

Jippee het was weer weekend! Wel, nog niet alles was hier in huis gepoetst, dus daar ben ik maar eerst aan begonnen. En zondag zit er een vleugje belofte van lente in de lucht; het was de hele dag zonnig, maar nog wat fris. Na een goed gevulde dag heb ik 's avond nog wat tijd in mijn hobby kamertje met stempels, stencils en vooral inkt en kleur doorgebracht, en vanmorgen heb ik deze afgemaakt:

Jippee it was weekend again! Well I hadn't cleaned all that needed in the house, so I started with that. Sunday there is a hint of the promise af spring in the air; it was sunny all day, but a little bit chilly. After a day filled with a lot of things I had some time that I spent in my little craftroom with stamps, stencils and mainly ink and colour, and I finished this one this morning:
