Washitape 4 / Washitape 4

Zoals ik in deze post en deze post en deze post al vertelde, heb ik te veel washitape...Wie weet heb jij dat ook wel. En ik gebruik het te weinig. Dus heb ik een hoop rolletjes bij elkaar gezocht en er een aantal vellen om uit te stanzen mee gemaakt. Twee van de vellen heb ik gebruikt om bloemblaadjes te stanzen en samen met de blaadjes uit vellum gestanst heb ik een lekkere speelruimte voor de katten gemaakt:

So I searched a bunch of washitape and made a few paperpieces to die-cut from with them. Two of the pieces I used to die-cut petals and together with the pettals wich I die-cut from vellum I made a fun playground for the cats:

Washitape 3e / Washitape 3e

Zoals ik in deze post en in deze post al vertelde, heb ik te veel washitape...Wie weet heb jij dat ook wel. En ik gebruik het te weinig. Dus heb ik een hoop rolletjes bij elkaar gezocht en er een aantal vellen om uit te stanzen mee gemaakt. 

En ik had een aantal stanzen om een mooie bloem mee te maken die ik steeds maar niet gebruikte omdat ik andere dingen voorrang gaf. Die heb ik nu eindelijk met die vellen en wat resten en hele vellen bedrukt vellum gebruikt om dit te maken:

And I had some dies to make a beautiful flower that I kept neglecting because I prioritized other things. Now I finally used those dies, some scraps and whole sheets of printed vellum to make this:

Er was eens... / Once upon a time...

Natuurlijk heb ik niet alle stempels die ik van de gewonnen waardebon (zie hier) heb gekocht al gebruikt, dus heb ik nog meer gemaakt met de sprookjesachtige Lavinia stempels. En zoals steeds was het weer leuk om iets te verzinnen en te maken. Met heerlijk veel stempelwerk! En het inkleuren heb ik vanmiddag bij Josje op weer een fijne stempel donderdagmiddag gedaan. 

Dus deze is 'vers van de pers'...

Hoop dat jij het ook weer sprookjesachtig en leuk vind!

Of course I didn't use all the stamps that I bought with the wonnen giftcertificate (see here), so I have made more with the fairytale Lavinia stamps. And, like every time, it was so much fun to come up with something to make and make it. With a lot of fun stamping! And the coloring I did this afternoon at Josje's on again one of our fun stamping afternoons.

So this one is 'hot of the press'...

2e print Mid Century Modern en Washitape 2e

Zoals ik in deze post al vertelde, heb ik te veel washitape...Wie weet heb jij dat ook wel. En ik gebruik het te weinig. Dus heb ik een hoop rolletjes bij elkaar gezocht en er een aantal vellen om uit te stanzen mee gemaakt. 

Deze gekartelde cirkels heb ik gestanst uit een vel gemaakt met bont Mid Century Modern washitape en geplakt op een aquarel papier met daarop een stencil schoongemaakt dat ik gebruikte voor dit project. Dit was de 2e print die ik daarvan 'trok'. (De 1e vind je hier.)

Met een roze effen achtergrond en epoxy letters was deze voor mij af.

As I mentioned in this post and in this popst I have too many washitapes...Maybe you have that too. And I don't use it enough. So I surched a bunch of washitape and made a few paperpieces to die-cut from with them. 

I die-cut hese serrated circles out of a piece of paper with all Mid Century Modern washitape and glued on a piece of aquarel paper on wich I cleaned a stencil that I used for this project. This was the second print I 'took' from it. (You can find the first one here.)

With a pink plain background and epoxy letters I thought it was finished.

Een magische plek / A magical place

Natuurlijk wil ik ook deze maand weer meedoen met de uitdaging bij Lavinia! Zeker nadat ik bij Webshop Margot een waardebon voor 25 euro won op FB en daar Designer voor de maand Juni 2025 ben! Die waardebon kwam goed van pas met de nieuwe release van Lavinia die ze daar verkopen en dus heb ik wat van de nieuwe stempels (en wat oudere) gekocht. Hieronder zie je ook een combinatie van nieuwe en oudere stempels van dat merk:

Of course, I want to participate in the Lavinia challenge again this month! Especially after I won a €25 gift certificate from Webshop Margot on Facebook and became their Designer for the Month of June 2025! Waterlelie / Water lily

Elk jaar, heel trouw, komt onze vijver tot bloei; eerst verschijnen er steeds groter wordende bladeren, tot ze elkaar bijna verdringen en dan verschijnen er bloemknoppen die zich dan een paar dagen lang in alle glorie laten bewonderen als ze overdag helemaal open geklapt zijn...

Als ik ze zie krijg ik daar altijd een blij gevoel van en dat is het gevoel dat deze week overheerste, dus dat wilde ik op een kaart/Art Journal Page maken...

De achtergrond is weer een print die ik maakte toen ik het stencil schoonmaakte dat ik hierop had gebruikt.

Every year, faithfully, our pound blooms. Fitsy leaves grow ever larger, almost crowding eachother out of the pound. Then flowerbuds appear, which fully open during the day, and for a few days they are on ful display...

Seeing them gives me always a happy feeling, and it is that feeling that prevailed this week, so I wanted to capture that on a card/ Art Journal Page...

The background is again a print that I made when I cleaned a stencil that I used on this project.

Washitape 1e

Oké, ik weet het; ik heb te veel washitape... Wie weet heb jij dat ook wel. En ik gebruik het te weinig. Maar ik heb ook nog heel veel andere dingen in mijn kleine hobbykamer liggen die ik tegenkom nu ik er weer eens hoognodig aan het opruimen ben. Een van de dingen die ik tegenkwam was dit meisje op een stuk aquarel papier gemaakt door een scheerschuimtechniek door een stencil te doen. Leuk en wat dromerig, maar al die tijd wist ik niet wat ik er verder op zou maken.

Tot nu dan! Ik heb washitape in zachte tinten gezocht en ook een tekst en die erop geplakt.

Oké, I know; I have too many washitape...  But I have a lot of otherer things in my little craft room that I find again now that I am  tiding it up ( wich was long overdo... )

One of the things I found was this girl on a piece of watercolor paper, made by using a shaving vream technique through a stencil, A fun one and a bit dreamy, but all this time I didn't know what else I would put onto that. 

Until know! I looked for washitape in soft colors and also a text and applied those.

CaS in het weekend 478 / CAS in the weekend 478

Vandaag een zomerse sfeer op mijn project. Zij ziet er wel een beetje als een Pin-up girl uit en eigenlijk zou ik veel liever werken met een Pin-up boy, maar die heb ik nergens kunnen vinden...

Omdat er bij veel challenges cirkels gevraagd worden heb ik voor de golven halve cirkels gebruikt.

En weer lekker gestempeld en met een stencil gesponsd.

Goed om er weer een beetje in te komen, want m'n zin en ideeën waren een beetje op geloof ik...

Today a summer-fine on my project. She looks a little bit like a Pin-up girl and I rather work with a pin-up boy, but I couldn't find one nowhere...

Because there are a lot of challenges asking for circles, I used half circles to make the waves.

Jazz...

Ik ben zo aan het genieten dat het een paar dagen even wat koeler weer is, dat ik ben vergeten hier een post op te zetten... Echt zomer dus... we genieten en zijn zoveel mogelijk buiten en als het zo warm is kom ik m'n hobbykamertje niet in; veel te warm daar...

Van de 1e 'print' die ik trok bij het schoonmaken van het stencil dat ik hier bij gebruikte heb ik met een tweede stencil deze 'Jazzy' kaart gemaakt. Het idee had ik al bij het maken van de achtergrond, alleen de tijd ontbrak die donderdagmiddag, dus ben ik later thuis hiermee aan de gang gegaan en heb ik dit gemaakt. 

Later volgt nog datgene wat ik maakte met de 2e 'print' die ik maakte...

I am enjoying that it is a bit cooler for a few days so much, that I forgot to post here... Real summer also... we enjoy and are outside as much as possible and if it is this hot I wouldn't go in my little craft room; it is too hot in there...

From the 'print'that I made by cleaning the stencil that I used with this project, I made a 'Jazzy' card with a second stencil. The idea was already in my head by making the background, just the time was lacking on that Thursday afternoon, so I sponged with the second stencil at home and made this. 

What I made with the second 'print' will follow later...

Mid Century Modern vormen / Mid Century Modern shapes

Terwijl er bijna weer een gezellige donderdagmiddag tot een einde kwam, had ik nog net genoeg tijd om een derde Mid Century Modern stencil uit de set van 4 te gebruiken (die ik overigens van Josje kado kreeg; zo lief!) De eerste twee stencils gebruikte ik hier. Distress Oxide krijgt altijd een heel andere kleur op zwart papier en zeker als dat ook nog eens aquarelpapier is. Dat wilde ik wel weer een keer doen! Dus met de DO Wild honey die nog op tafel lag door het stencil gesponst; de kleur is niet te herkennen, maar ik vind het mooi...  En toen had ik alleen nog tijd om het stencil op 2 stukken aquarelpapier schoon te maken en tijdens de laatste slokken thee te laten drogen voor ik weer maar huis moest...

Dus heb ik daarna de dag erna thuis de katten nog wat subtiel gekleurd met een grijze fijnschrijver een tekst gezocht en die er allemaal opgeplakt. Soms moet iets niet druk zijn om indruk te maken vind ik... Wat vind jij?

While again a lovely Thursday afternoon was almost over, I had just enough time to make a background with the third Mid Century Modern stencil from the set of 4 (I got this set as a present from Josje; so sweet!) The first two stencils I used here. Distress Oxide gives a completely different color on black paper, especially when you use it on black aquarel paper. That is what I wanted to do again after haven't 'played'like that! So I sponged with the DO Wild honey that was still sitting on my table; the color is unrecognisable here, but I like it... And than I only had time to clean the stencil on two pieces of aquarelpaper and finish my tea before I had to go home again...

So the day after I colored the cats very subtile with a grey pencil and seatched for a sentiment and glued them all on the background. Sometimes it doesn;t need to be bussy to impress I think... What do you think of it?

Zorgeloos/ Happy-go-lucky

Oké, dat is raar, maar ik denk dat ik een beetje aangestoken / geïnspireerd ben door Josje op deze donderdagmiddag twee weken geleden. Hierop heb ik niet gestempeld... Ik had een hele hoop al uitgestanste dingen meegenomen en wat 4-kante DP en toen op de tafel alles zo op elkaar lag vond ik het leuk bij elkaar passen. Ik ben meestal niet van nog een keer over nadenken, maar doen en dus heb ik deze kaart / Art Journal Page snel van idee omgezet naar gemaakt...

Oké, that is strange, but I think I got a bit inspired by Josje on this Thursday afternoon two weeks ago. I didn't stamp on this one... I took a lot of already die-cut images with me just as some square DP and when it was on the table together I thought it fits nicely together. Most of the time I don't overthink, but I act, so I made this card/Art Journey Page real quickly from idea to reality...

Gemengde vormen / Mixed shapes

Was ik de vorige keer op donderdag al begonnen met het gebruiken van de (vouwblaadjes-) cirkels die ik al zolang in mijn hobbykamer heb liggen, deze keer nam ik ze mee naar Josje en sponsde door een soort Mid Century Modern stencil allerlei vormen op een gele. Ook de uit restjes gestanste katten kregen gesponsde vormen door weer een ander Mid Century Modern stencil te gebruiken. Dat alles moest op de 'print' die ik als vierde trok bij het schoonmaken van het stencil dat ik hier gebruikte. (de 1e 'print' vind je hier en 2e vind je hier, de derde hier). Eenmaal thuis heb ik er nog een tekst bij gezocht en dat was het...

On one of the last Thursday afternoons I started using the folding circles that I had in my stash for so long and I took them with me to Josje and used a yellow one here. I sponged through a Mid Century Modern stencil all kinds of shapes on that one. Even the already earlier from snippits cuted cats had to get this shapes sponged through jet another Mid Century Modern stencil. And all of that had to go on the 'print' that I made by cleaning a stencil I used here. (The first 'print' you can find here, the second one you can find here and the third here). At home I searched for a sentiment and that was it...

Ik zag dat er iemand op de oude FB-page van De Scrapheap een Zomer Challenge gaat doen, maar na 10 (!) Zomer Challenges gedaan te hebben heb ik besloten daar niet aan mee te doen. Dus ook voor mij dit jaar een keer een rustigere Zomer wat het maken van dingen betreft!

I saw that someone will run a Summer Challenge on the old FB Page of the Scrapheap, but after having done Summer Challenges 10 times (!), I decided not to particiapate.. So for me this year too it will be a bit quieter Summer in terms of making things!
