Benen / legs

Afgelopen dinsdag een heerlijke dag samen met Paulien doorgebracht. Net zo dol op stempelen en vieze vingers als ik, dus dat werd een kleurrijke dag! Een dag die startte op het station in Eindhoven en daarna naar verschillende winkels voerde die heel veel snoepgoed in de vorm van verf en potlood en andere kleurtjes en heerlijk papier verkopen... Na een lekkere lunch zijn we heerlijk met stencils, verf en inkt aan de slag gegaan om net weer eens een andere papiersoort als die we normaal gebruiken te proberen. We eindigden de dag met een lekkere maaltijd en toen was het veel te snel alweer tijd voor Paulien om op de trein te stappen... Maar niet zonder een volgende keer in Venlo af te spreken!
Last tuesday I had a lovely day with Paulien. She is just as keen on stamping and inky fingers as I am. so that became a colourfull day! A day that started at the trainstation in Eindhoven and led us to different shops that sell a lot of candy in the shape of paint and pencils and other colours and paper... After a dilicious lunch we started working with stencils, paint and ink to try some different types of paper than we normally use. We ended the day with a tastefull meal and by that time Paulien had to go and take the train home.... But not without setting a date to do this again in Venlo!


Tijdens het drogen van weer een van de vele lagen op mijn Mixed Media werk, heb ik deze kaart gemaakt met m'n nieuwe stempels van Dyan Reaveley. Er is niet zo heel veel van wat tijdens de CHA gepresenteerd werd dat voor mij een hoog "heb" gehalte had, maar deze en de mooie "Scribbly birds on branches" van Dina Wakley kon ik niet weerstaan... Van die laatste binnenkort meer hier.
During the time that it took to let one of the many layers of my MM-work to dry, I made this card with my new stamps from Dyan Reaveley. There is not so much stuff that was released at the CHA that has a high "must have" feeling, but these stamps and the beautiful "Scribbly birds on branches"from Dina Wakley were irrisisteble for me... With those last stamps more in a next post.

Vrolijke bloemen / Cheerfull flowers

De twee weken van onze challenge op het TIME OUT challengeblog zijn weer voorbij, dus start er vandaag weer een nieuwe uitdaging, deze keer een kaart om te "casen" van Kylie. Ik heb me voor mijn DT-kaart laten inspireren door de bloemen. 't label en textuur op de achtergrond. Niet helemaal mijn "ding" deze kaart, maar ik ga een uitdaging niet uit de weg...
The two weeks of our challenge at the TIME OUT challengeblog are gone so quickly. So today the start of a new challenge, this time a case-card from Kylie. I was inspired by the flowers, the tag and the texture on the background. Not my "cup of tea" this card, but I took the challlenge:

Winterbloem / winterflower

Al is het nog zo nat of koud, ook 's winters bloeit er bij ons in de tuin een dappere en oh zo mooie bloem; een witte Helleborus. Deze bloem heb ik gebruikt op mijn kaart:

Love and Passion all Around

De eerste van de maand vandaag en dus beginnen er vandaag heel veel nieuwe uitdagingen. En een heel aantal wil ik aan meedoen, al kijk ik altijd eerst naar waar ik zin in heb om te maken... Vandaag kwam ik bij het kijken tussen mijn stencils deze mooie hart-bloem tegen en ja, toen was het idee om die voor de uitdaging bij Stampinback te gebruiken heel snel gemaakt. Hoe het moest worden zag ik in gedachten voor me en ik ben blij dat het zo ook op het papier is gekomen...
The first day of the month and also the start of a hole lot of new challenges. There are a number of challenges that I want to join, but before I start, I first think what I would like to make. Today I was browsing trough my stencils and came across this beautiful heart-flower stencil, then the idea to use this one for the challenge at Stampinback was quickly there. How I wanted the card to look I saw in my mind and I am glad that it came exactly like that on the paper...

For my still decreasing stock I made a birthdaycard. Because the challenge at "Seize the Birthday" is anything goes, I will enter for the first time there, and I ad this one to a few challenges where they ask for CAS; a little taaster for tomorrows post...
