Zat ik wat vorige week een oude bijlage van een krant te bekijken en kwam bij een artikel deze getekende dames tegen, allen met korte rokjes. Toen moest ik opeens aan 'rokjesdag' denken en dat ik aan die benaming zo'n hekel heb, naast dat er voor dames geen prettige equivalent is... Plus dat, als er al een voordeel aan deze warrige tijd van Corona en intellectuele lockdown hier in Nederland zit, is het dat we dit jaar rokjesdag compleet gemist hebben! Het was tenslotte al in maart een tijdje zo'n mooi weer, dat vast iemand een van die dagen zou hebben uitgeroepen als 'rokjesdag'! En zo denkend kwam er een beeld bij mij naar boven van een page die ik gewoon moest maken...en dit is het geworden:

Plus, if that, if there is an advantage to this strange time of Corvid and the intellectual lockdown here in the Netherlands, it is that we completely missed little skirt day this year! After all it was such nice weather in March that someone would have declared one of days as 'skirt day'! And thinking along that line, an image came up to me of a page that I just had to make... and this is it:

BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat use of the illustration from the paper Gerrina - I hear you on the 'short skirt day', it isolates the older women, and also those not happy with their figure. A lot of social pressure that is not needed :(
