Het lijkt erop dat het een zonnige dag word, dus wat vroeger begonnen met wat CaS-kaarten, zodat ik straks lekker naar buiten kan voor de 1e veldhockeywedstrijd van onze dochter...
It seems that it is going to be a sunny day, so I started a bit earlier with some CAS-cards, so I can enjoy the weather outside and go watch the first fieldhockeygame from our daughter...

Gast DesignerTeam Chocolate Baroque 10 / Guest DesignTeam Chocolate Baroque 10

En zo is het alweer maart en is het alweer een half jaar geleden dat ik een maand lang voor het Gast DesignerTeam bij Chocolat Baroque een aantal creaties van mij mocht posten...dus mag ik deze maand weer!
And so it is March again and is it already six months ago that it was my turn to post a month long some of my makes for the Guest Designer Team at Chocolat Baroque ...so this month it is my turn again!

Deze keer heb ik een spaarpot in de vorm van een huisje met stempels van Cholcolat Baroque bewerkt en een bijpassende kaart gemaakt:
This time I stamped on a moneybox in a birdhouseshape with the stamps from Chocolate Baroque and made a matching card:

Stempels: Chocolate Baroque Fantasy Meadows en Bold blooms
Inkt: Stazon Vesafine Onyx black, DI Salty ocean, Mowed lawn en Mustard seed, Memento Cottage ivy, Tangelo, Dandelon en Danube blue
Overige: Houten spaarpot, blendingtool, tissuepapier, Multi medium matte en kwastje, stempelpapier, linnen strook en blauw cardstock


Werkwijze:
De spaarpot heb ik eerst met gesso bewerkt en dit laten drogen. Daarna ben ik gaan sponzen en met een kwast en water met blauwe, gele en groene Distress Inkt. Met verschillende kleuren Memento inkt de bloemen op tissuepapier gestempeld en deze uitgeknipt. De bloemen met Multi medium matte op de spaarpot geplakt
Voor de kaart gebruikte ik weer de kleuren memento inkt en heb ik de tekst met zwarte Stazon op een gele strook linnen gestempeld. Deze strook vastgezet en de kaart op een dubbele blauwe kaart geplakt.

Workproces:
At first I painted the moneybox with gesso and left it to dry. With a sponge a pensel and water I coloured the box and let that dry again. The flowers are stamped on tissuepaper with several colours Memento ink, fussy cut and glued to the box with Multi medium matte.
For the card I used the same inkcolours and Stazon black for the quote on the yellow piece of linnen. Glue the piece of linnen first to the card and then the card on a base.

Nog steeds ben ik bezig met mijn voornemen van dit jaar om meer van mijn hobbyvoorraad te gebruiken. Dus deze gelliplateachtergrond uitgezocht met een stencil en wat washitape en bewerkt tot een Art Journalpage voor in mijn A5 Art Journalboek:

Todat was a bussy day. So I made these quick cards in between all I had to do and not only in my own craftroom. The first is atill in Wintertheme, but the 2nd is totally Spring-inspired...

3e Verjaardag TIME OUT!!! / 3rd Birthday TIME OUT!!!

De twee weken van de TIME OUT Challenge zijn weer voorbij gevlogen, dus hebben we vandaag weer een nieuwe challenge voor je!
Maar dat is niet alles! Het  TIME OUT Challenge blog viert haar derde verjaardag!
En voor mij is het dus ook een beetje feest; ik ben al vanaf het begin, dus drie jaar DT-lid daar.

Geen stempels? / No stamps?

Om eens te kijken hoe dit Mixed Mediapapier werkte, heb ik er met stencils, inkt en een waterpen op gewerkt. Uiteindelijk, hoe kan dat nou? Heb ik geen enkele stempel gebruikt!
To see how this Mixed Mediapaper worked, I used stencils, ink and a waterpen on it. At the end, how is that possible? I haven't used a stamp at all!
