Time Out # 159 Lezen in de tuin / Reading in the garden

De twee weken van de TIME OUT Challenge zijn weer voorbij gevlogen, dus hebben we vandaag weer een nieuwe uitdaging voor je!

Ik maakte weer een bladzijde in een van mijn Art Journals met daarop iets waarmee ik nu mijn "vrije" tijd ook goed doorkom:

Beetje zee en grunge / A bit sea and grunge

Bij de kaart/page van vandaag heb ik een aantal van de stempels die Geralda dit jaar voor Art Specially ontwierp gecombineerd met wat grunge stempels en er zo een eigen grungy zee-rand van gemaakt:

Bloemen uit cirkels / Flowers from circkles

Vandaag de eerste kaart met een van de nieuwe Mixed Media stempelsets die Crafty Individuals vandaag lanceert in TV-shows op Hochanda (je kunt de shows daar vandaag zien om 9:00 en 15:00uur Nederlandse tijd, maar ook later terugkijken). De stempels zijn heerlijk om in je Art Journal en als achtergronden te gebruiken, maar als eerste wilde ik er iets heel anders mee maken:

Today the first card with one of the new Mixed Media stampsets wich Crafty Individuals releases today in TV-shows at Hochanda (You can see these at 8:00 and 14:00 Brittisch time, but you can also watch them later). The stamps are perfect to work with in your Art Journal and on your backgrounds, but I wanted to make something different with them for my first card:

CaS in het weekend 286 / CAS in the weekend 286

Vandaag is het heerlijk weer; nog wel fris, maar de zon schijnt al de hele dag; dat doet goed! Dus wel thuis gebleven, maar ook veel in de achtertuin genoten van het mooie weer en toch afstand gehouden. Het lekkere gevoel kwam vanzelf terug in de kaart die ik vandaag maakte.
Die werd lekker gek met de stempels getekend door Remer Hoekstra; een van vorig jaar en de theedrinkende giraffe van de stempels van Art Specially van dit jaar.

Today it is lovely weather; still a bit chilly, but the sun is shining all day; make me feel so good! So I stayed at home, but enjoyed the lovely weather in our backyard and kepy my distance in that way. The happy feeling shows trough in the card I made today. 
This one is a quirky one with stamps designed by Remer Hoekstra; one from last year and the tea-drinking giraffe is one of the Art Specially stamps from this year.

Droom of plan / Dream or plan

Ik kon het niet laten om ook in mijn andere nieuwe Art Journal te beginnen; de vierkante afmeting trekt me zo aan... Ondertussen werk ik in zo'n 10 Art Journals te gelijk, afhankelijk van op wat voor papier ik met welk medium wil werken, op wat voor maat ik wil werken of dat het iets met vrouwen, natuur, de kleine dametjes van mijn boek of iets anders te maken heeft en of ik de bladzijdes los kan maken of dat ik zelf  bladzijden toe kan voegen. Heerlijk is het om telkens weer te schakelen en zo steeds weer iets anders te maken! Maar goed, terug naar mijn nieuwe vierkanten Art Journal; daar moest ik gewoon met deze nieuwe stempel van Art Specially ontworpen door Redmer Hoekstra op werken:

I couldn't resist to also start in my other new Art Journal; the square shape is such an attractive one... At the moment I work in about 10 Art Journals at the same time, based on wich paper and medium I want to use, on wich size I want to work if it is something with woman, nature, the little ladies of my book or something else and if I can losen the pages or that I can add pages myself. It is a real joy to switch each time and make something different each time! But back to my new square Art Journal; it had to be stamped with this new stamp from Art Specially, designed by Redmer Hoekstra:

Nieuw Art Journal / New Art Journal

Gisteren kreeg ik twee nieuwe Art Journals binnen die ik van het weekend besteld had. Gisteravond ben ik meteen met de 1e page voor in een van hen begonnen; ik kon niet wachten en wist dat wat ik wou maken tussendoor best veel droogtijd nodig had...en lekker op wou experimenteren. Vandaag heb ik de page afgemaakt. Weer eens een keer anders als dat ik meestal werk, maar oh zo leuk om zoveel van de verschillende spullen die ik heb (weer) te gebruiken!

Yesterday the post brought me two new Art Journals wich I ordered this weekend. Yesterdayevening I immediately started with the first page in one of them; I couldn't wait amd I knew that what I wanted to make took a lot dryingtime inbetween the layers...and I wanted to experiment. Today I finished the page. This is different from what I make mostly, but it was so much fun to do and  to use so much of my different supplies (again)!
