Gisteren was het de verjaardag van onze dochter. Natuurlijk maakte ik ook dit jaar een kaart voor haar. Ze houd van verschillende dingen en dit jaar heb ik gekozen voor Nijntje. Ze heeft een aantal dingen uit de serie van de Hema die ik ook heel leuk vind. En dat Nijntje silhouet is aan de ene kant zo herkenbaar en aan de andere kant doet het mij, en misschien haar ook, denken aan de boekjes en ons bezoek aan het Nijntje museum met haar Opa en Oma toen ze heel wat kleiner was... Ze is nu 23 en een jonge vrouw waar ik trots op ben!
En wat een fijne kaart om te maken: ik gebruikte DP, een stencil, stansjes, washitape én een stempel...
Yesterday it was the Birthday of our daughter. Of course I made a card for her this year. She loves several things and this year I have chosen to use Nijntje (Miffy). She has some things from the serie made by the Hema that I like too. And I think that the Nijntje (Miffy-) silhouet is a super recognizable and for me (and maybe her to), it makes my think of the time that we went to the Nijntje (Miffy-) museum together with her Granddad and Grandma when she was a whole lot younger... She is 23 now and a young woman wich I am so proud of!
And what a joy this card: I used DP, a stencil, die-cuts, washitape and a stamp...

What a fabulous card Gerrina - my children also loved the Miffy books, and one at least I could 'recite' by heart to my daughter.... especially if she wonke through the night - but i could not miss a word!!
