Kerst / Christmas

Vandaag 1e kerstdag en het is nog steeds nat en de wind 'huilt' rond het huis. Dus zijn we binnen met een pot thee, lekkere dingen en genieten van het samenzijn met de familie. 1e Kerstdag betekend bij ons ook kadootjes! Zeker met de dochter op kamers in een andere stad voor haar studie en natuurlijk heeft ze de laatste week van het collegejaar tentamens en daarna voor haar twee dagen hard werken omdat de winkel waar zij werkt zaterdags en zondags van 9u-17u open is, is het gewoon al jaren fijner om de kadootjes met kerst i.p.v. met Sinterklaas te doen. Daar beginnen we zo aan, maar eerst mijn kerstwens voor jullie:

Fijne Kerstdagen!

Today the first Christmas day and it is still wet and the wind is 'howling' round the house. So we are inside with a pot of tea all kinds of tasty things and enjoying being together with the family. For us, the first Christmas day also means presents! Especially with our daughter living in another city for her study and of course she had exams in the last week of the academic year and then she had to work hard in the store where she works because it was open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., it has just been nicer to give presents at Christmas instead of Sinterklaas, We'll get to that in a moment, but first my Christmas wish for you:
