Samen de honden uitlaten / Walking the dogs together

Deze week was het nog steeds best warm voor de tijd van het jaar te worden en zo vond ik deze kaart/page daar wel bij passen. De achtergrond is gemaakt op een van de gezellige donderdagmiddagen en lag al een tijd te wachten tot ik er iets op zou maken. Tijdens onze vakantie heb ik een nieuwe stansset gekocht en deze wou ik gelijk hierop gebruiken. Ik koop de laatste tijd meer stanzen; met al die achtergronden die ik maak en gemaakt heb kan ik die zo goed verwerken... En, ik heb nog wat stanzen liggen die ik nog nooit gebruikt heb (=NBUS), dus met mijn arm die niet echt wil is dit het moment om die met de achtergronden te combineren...

This week was a pretty warm week again for this time of the year and so I found this card/Page fitting with that. The background was made during one of the fun thursday afternoons and lay in my too-finish-box for a while until I would make something on it. During our vacation I bought a new die-set that I wanted to use on this one imediately... And, I have some never used dies (=NBUS) in a box, so with an arm that can't do all I want with it, this is a great moment to get combining them...

Zo ik ben er klaar mee! Nee niet negatief bedoeld, maar ik heb alle dagen/prompts van de Zomer Challenge gemaakt die ik wou maken. Heerlijk dat ik nu weer op andere manieren kan gaan stempelen, kleuren en meer, al heb ik weer genoten van het op deze manier aan de slag gaan... Dus vandaag de laatste dag en een overzicht van alle gemaakte dagen. Dit jaar heb ik mezelf een extra uitdaging gesteld en ik ben benieuwd of het jou is opgevallen wat er op alle kaarten van deze Zomer challenge te zien is? So I have finished it! No, said in a negative way, but I made all the days/prompts of the Summer Challenge wich I wanted to make. Feels so good that from now on I can start stamping, colouring and more in different ways again, although I enjoyed making things with a prompt... So today the last one and a compilation of all the days I made.This year I set myself an extra challenge and I am so curious if you saw what it is that you can see on all the cards of the Summer Challenge? Denk dat ik nu maar eens verder ga met het afwerken van heel wat dingen die er nog in mijn bak liggen om nog wat mee te doen en nog veel meer opgebruiken van spullen die al lang in mijn hobbykamertje liggen en die ik, nadat ze op zijn, nooit meer ga aanschaffen... Mooi voornemen? Of niet... kijken of dat me lukt...

Think I now go on with finishing a lot of the things that are in my -still-to-finish- box and to use up a lot of the things that lay in my little craftroom for such a long time, and wich I won't buy ever again when they are used up...

De twee weken van de TIME OUT Challenge zijn weer voorbij gevlogen, dus hebben we vandaag weer een nieuwe uitdaging voor je! 

Deze keer dagen we je uit om iets te maken geïnspireerd door : "A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination". 

Ik maakte ook deze keer weer een Art Journal Page voor een van mijn Art Journals.

Met de nieuwe stansset die ik in onze vakantie kocht moest ik natuurlijk nog wat meer proberen... Dus heb ik weer een van de achtergronden uit de "nog af te werken- bak" genomen en daar de stanzen van de vrouw en de man met de honden uit de set op gebruikt.

CaS in het weekend 361 / CAS in the weekend 361

Dankjewel voor al jullie beterschapswensen! Het is moeilijk voor mij om stil te zitten; dat lukt eigenlijk alleen maar met een goed boek...En dus ben ik toch gaan kijken hoe ik toch iets zou kunnen stempelen. Dat gaat niet zo lekker, dus zie je alleen op de 2e kaart wat gestempeld. Voor de 1e kaart heb ik een achtergrond uit mijn "nog af te maken"-bak gebruikt. Deze keer ga ik eens niet voor een standaard witte achtergrond... Ik vond er een met mooie kleuren, en omdat ik een herfstkaart wil maken, nam ik er een paddenstoelenrand bij die ik met een blendingtool kleur gaf. Veel meer vond ik 'm niet nodig hebben...

Op de 1e heb ik een klein beetje gestempeld...

Thanks you for all your get well wishes! It's hard for me to sit still; that really only works with a good book... And so I went to see how I could stamp something. That is not going so well, so you only see something stamped on the 2nd card. For the 1st card I used a background from my "to be finished" box. This time I'm not going for a standard white background... I found one with nice colours, and because I want to make an autumn card, I added a mushroom border that I colored with a blending tool. I didn't think I needed much more...

On the first one I stamped a little bit...

Ik heb nog steeds last van mijn schouder, maar ik had al twee van deze drie dagen/prompts eerder gemaakt. Alleen de 1e moest ik nog... Die heb ik gemaakt van een achtergrondje dat ik al een tijd terug genaakt had en, met wat hulp, van een nieuwe stanzenset. De gesso cirkel en het opplakken kon ik gelukkig ook met links...

Helaas heb ik een van mijn biceps gescheurd en zit dus nog minimaal 2 weken in een mitella met mijn rechterarm en daarna nog 6 weken revalideren... dus ik ben benieuwd wat ik nog kan maken...

My shoulder still hurts, but I had already made two of these three days/prompts before. I only needed to make the first one... I made the first one from a background I already made a long time ago, and with some help, from a new dieset. Fortunately, I could made the gesso circle myself and sticking it al on went oké with left...

Helas I tore one of my biceps and will be in a sling for at least two weeks and then rcovering for 6 weeks, so I'm curious what else I can make...

CaS in het weekend 360 / CAS in the weekend 360

Ik was van plan de 2e kaart maandag af te maken en deze post erop te zetten, maar heb mijn rechterschouder geblesseerd en ben rechts, dus zit ik nu onder de pijnstillers en kan niet zoveel doen... De 2e is afgemaakt met wat hulp en erg langzaam...

I planned to finish the second card on monday, but I ingered my right shoulder and I am right-handed, so now I have to take painkillers and am not able to do much... The 2nd one is finished with some help and verry slowly...

Dit weekend was het laatste stukje van onze vakantieweek. Gelukkig hebben we een paar zonnige dagen gehad en kunnen genieten van het zonnetje. We voelen ons weer 'bijgetankt' en hebben weer een mooi stuk van Nederland verkend. Ik had helemaal niets meegenomen om te stempelen dus heb echt een 'break' genomen. We zijn langs gegaan bij Jacobi en Hobbyvision; leuk om die winkels eens te zien! Dus je snapt dat ik voorlopig weer vooruit kan! Zaterdag was ook alweer zo'n zonnige dag en dus lekker buiten geweest en pas zondag ben ik langzaam weer aan het stempelen gegaan. Eindelijk weer eens 2 CaS-kaarten gemaakt. Natuurlijk ook een met iets spookachtigs erop; in de bossen klinkt 's avonds en 's nachts het druppen van het vocht overal vanaf en is het echt wel frisjes...dus dat past wel...

This weekend were the last two days of our vacation week. So glad that we had a few sunny days and that we could enjoy the sunny weather. We feel recharged again and have seen another beautiful part of The Netherlands. I didn't take anything with me to stamp, so I took a real 'break'. We went to Jacobi and Hobbyvision; it was fun to step in those stores and wonder around! So you understand that I have enough to work with for a while! Saterday it was again a sunny day, so I enjoyed that one by being outside a lot.and only sunday i started stamping again. I finaly made two CAS cards again. Ofcourse one of them with something a bit spooky on it; in the woods you can hear the moist dripp down from everything in the night and it is chilly... so that fits perfectly...

In onze tuin heb ik het eerste roodborstje alweer gezien; het is dus echt herfst... Daar ben ik helemaal nog niet aan toe! Ik hou van lange nazomerdagen met heerlijk veel zon in de middag en regen 's nachts. Maar daar is het nu net even te koud en overdag te nat voor... Nou ja, dan maar meer binnen aan de gang en dus ook weer wat vaker aan het stempelen en zo... Ik heb weer drie dagen van de Zomer Challenge om te laten zien. Hoop dat jij ze weer leuk vind...

I saw the first robin in our garden ; it is really autumn now... That isn't were I was prepared for at all! I love long after-summer days with lots of sun in the afternoons and some rain during the night. But at the moment it is just a bit too cold and to wet during the day for that... Well, than I do more things inside and so I sometimes have more time to stamp and more... Again I have three days from the Summer Challenge to show. I hope you like them again...
