CaS in het weekend 421 / CAS in the weekend 421

Soms heb je een stencil dat je wilt gebruiken, maar dan net even anders als dat je meestal een stencil gebruikt. Dat was bij mij bij dit stencil het geval. Dus heb ik maar een gedeelte van het stencil gebruikt en het in een kleur een achtergrond gegeven en ook in die kleur gesponsd en de tekst gestempeld. Ik vind het mooi rustig zo...

Sometimes you have a stencil that you want to use, but just in a bit different way as you used to. That was what I wanted to do with this stencil. So I only used a part of the stencil and gave the background the same color as the one I sponged the stencil and used the same color to stamp the text. I think it is beautifully serene like this...

3x hetzelfde stencil 2 / 3x the same stencil 2

Gisteren zag ik iets dat me een stukje terugwierp in de tijd; Op een weg waar je 70 mag rijden, maar wel met verkeerslichten, ging het licht voor mijn rijrichting op groen, maar er trok niemand op, want er staken een herder met kudde schapen en twee schaapshonden de weg over. Een beeld dat je tegenwoordig niet meer vaak ziet. Ik heb ervan genoten...

Zoals ik al eerder hier schreef;

In mijn 'nog af te werken'-doos zaten ook 3 achtergronden met daarop al gestencild raam en vogel. Alle 3 net even anders, maar duidelijk in dezelfde periode gemaakt. De 1e is het origineel en de andere 2 zijn (in die volgorde) duidelijk gemaakt door met water op het stencil te spuiten en deze af te drukken. Daarom is de 3e ook het lichtste.  Waarom ik die niet afmaakte weet ik niet, maar toen ik op zoek was naar iets om af te maken kwam ik deze tegen en ben ik eerst hiermee aan de slag gegaan. Ik heb ze alle 3 anders afgewerkt, maar laat ze in verschillende posts zien om jou te inspireren en te laten zien hoe anders iets eruit kan zien terwijl je 3x dezelfde basismaterialen gebruikt... Dit is de 2e:

Yesterday I saw something that threw me back in time; On a road where you are allowed to drive 70, but with traffic lights, the light for my lane went on to green, but no one started driving, because there was a sheperd with a flock of sheep and two sheep dogs were crossing the road. An image that you don't see often these days. I enjoyed it...

As I wrote here earlier:

In my 'still-to-finish'-box were also 3 backgrounds with already stencilled window and bird on it. all 3 slightly different, but for sure made in the same periode of time. The first one is the original one and the 2 others are (in this order) clearly made by spraying some water over the stencil and print these.  Why I didn't finished them I don't know, but when I was looking for something to finish I came across these 3 and got working on them first. I finished them all three slightly different, but show them in three posts, to inspire you and to show you how different they can look while using 3x the same basic materials... This is the 2nd one:

Wat morgen brengt / What tomorrow brings

Dit is (eindelijk) de laatste van de 11 projecten die ik op een gezellige donderdagmiddag afgewerkt /verwerkt heb uit mijn nog af te maken doos en mijn doos met achtergronden... De basis is een kaart die ik  uit mijn 'nog af te maken'-doos haalde. Daarop stond al een door mij getekende doos en wat gestempelde vlinders. Ik voegde er alleen maar een stuk washitape met een tekst aan toe en vraag me nog steeds af waarom deze in eerste instantie in de doos was beland... Nu kan deze in een van mijn kleine Art Journals.

This is (finaly) the last one of the 11 projects that I finished/put together from my still-to-finish box and my box with backgrounds on one of the fun Thursday afternoons... The base is a background that I took out of my 'still-to-finish'- box. On it was already a by me drawn box and sone stamped butterflies. I only added a piece of washitape with a text. I still wonder why this one was put in that box? Now this card is ready to go in one of my little Art Journals.

CaS in het weekend 420 / CAS in the weekend 420

Met het gebruiken van winterstempels op een van de donderdagmiddagen kon ik er natuurlijk niet onderuit om deze prachtige winter silhouetten stempel nog een keer te gebruiken. Deze keer heb ik 2 keer een gedeelte van de stempel gebruikt. Dat vergeet ik veel te vaak; dat je ook een gedeelte van een stempel kunt gebruiken... Bij beiden heb ik heel verschillende kleuren voor de lucht gebruikt:

With using winter stamps on one of the Thursday afternoons I just had to use this beautiful winter silhouette stamp again. This time I stamped twice a part of the stamp. That is something I tend to forget; that you can use just a part of a stamp... On both I used different colors for the sky:

De basis is een achtergrond die ik  uit mijn achtergrondendoos haalde. Ik voegde er wat waterjuffen aan toe, een al uitgestanstte veer uit mijn stansjes doos die ik nog een beetje bewerkte, een van de meisjes van DutchDesignink, en een tekststicker. Zo kan deze kaart ook weer in een van mijn kleine Art Journals.
